Some great ideas on here, I just remembered I have a pack of veggie suet in the cupboard since last xmas! Can it be used for the same recipes or does it not work as well for some things?

They are a cheap and easy way to bulk out a meal, I've added them to all sorts of casserols and soups, keep meaning to try the savory roly poly thing with some of my bulk cooked savory mince.
Think I will add that to next weeks meal plan.
