    Thanks.

So how is your speed compared to what you got with O2?
Hard to tell, I player is working.

Look at the router stats and it will give you the exact details.

I first connected at just over 4mb and when DLM kicked in it ended up at just over 6mb which is what I was getting with O2.

Sounds like DLM still has to kick in over the next few days. Keep an eye on it and you should see from the log on the Support tab once DLM starts.
  • Hi there, sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread but it is on a similar subject. My elderly father has just been moved from O2 to Sky and has lost his email account. I'm not sure if they had instructed him to move to a Sky email address but he is upset that he has lost his messages. Apparently he spoke to Sky and they advise him that they were not at fault. O2 have said they made a mistake and he will be reinstated on his previous email account. He's not sure what to do next... and I'm not either!! Can anyone advise? Many thanks and merry christmas.

The same here, but I actually ended with about 1mb more than with O2. This was possibly due to using a new router as my O2 one is not the latest model issued

I phoned mid November when I got my letter about migrating in January/February. I simply told them that I didn't want to migrate yet as I still had free BB with O2 until 3rd March.

They then offered £7.50pm with a £40 credit which I said I'd think about as I knew others had been given the £75 credit. So she said she would give me £75 credit.

got offered bb for £5 a month and £75 credit but told them I would like to see out my 12 month free until march 3rd then I will consider my options......don't really want to stay with sky but if that's the cheapest option and IF the £5/£75 offer is still on I might try it

My initial offer was for £5pm BB alone with no tie in.

When they offered £7.50pm for BB AND Line Rental for 12 months with £75 credit I felt it was too good an offer to turn down. I was also at the end of my BT agreement so it made sense to move then.

What sort of deals are they offering for fibre currently, anyone had one recently?

Also if you don't take their line rental offers will you tend to get a worse deal? Quite happy paying a fairly small amount to Primus for the time being.

I was offered 40mb fibre for £20 a month on a 12 month contract. That was without line rental as we had recently signed up to the BT rental saver.
