That is not what they state here
UK mobile networks - 7am-7pm - 12.77p per minute
UK mobile networks - 7pm-7am - 7.66p per minute
if you read this whole thread you will sees everyone has been given different plans/offers.
so Sky are inconsistent.
but we dont use landline to phone mobiles that often anyway as we would use mobile to mobile or just text other mobiles0 -
I can't find any reference to free mobile calls.
They had a tariff which they gave to "selected" customers (who were on the works, tv/bb/line rental etc) called super unlimited which includes calls to mobiles.
Maybe they can still offer it.Did they ask or is this a standard £50 to cover in case they take over while you are still in contract
This £50 bribe seems to be a standard sum inducement added on if you contact them and mention you are still in contract with another line provider to try and get you to switch your line rental to them.
No questions are asked about whether or not the £50 credit is more or less than needed to cover any early termination fee (nor do they ask any questions regarding the contract you say you are tied to!)0 -

What you really mean is that different sales agents tell different lies to persuade customers to take deals, so that they get their sales commission! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

(The +£50 credit is already showing on my Sky account )

How many months' rental have you still not used ? Did they ask or is this a standard £50 to cover in case they take over while you are still in contract ? (I am in contract to October 27th with my line rental saver as it runs along with free evenings and weekends for committing to 12 months)
Ive still got 1 month with BT (paid line rental in advance).
It standard apparently. Everyone still with another provider can get it if you tell them i have x months remaining with y provider.0 -
Think long term before giving your number to Sky.
I'm not sure what it achieves by publishing a snippet, with no context, of someone complaining who, while on a 2G per month allowance, used 48G per month and was told to upgrade to a non-lite tariff?
Do you work for the Daily Mail?

has anyone left o2 recently who has not been moved to Sky yet?
I'm not sure if I am still entitled to leave due to o2 breaking the contract by selling it to Sky. I just hope I haven't inadvertently started a new contract with Sky.0 -
If you have been migrated to Sky, you would have been informed, both before and after migration.0
-
I haven't been migrated to sky. I just want to ensure I get out before I get moved to Sky. I just found that my 12 month initial contract ends on 30th Oct as well. I don't really want to be charged an early termination fee but I'm happy to pay it if it means I don't move to sky.....0

I am in a similar position to you as my O2 contract finishes this month
after which i will be paying more
is there any special reason why you do not want to go with sky?
i have been offered a deal which i posted earlier in the thread but have still to decide where to go
