their own forums are hardly likely to allow ppl to criticise the company, completely pointless! I emailed the ceo from the site over a week ago and no response surprise surprise!!! If the those at the top are reckless what do we expect from the back office monkeys at e2save??

well the reason she doesnt reply is because it makes it hard to justify the company and say "read the t+c" when so many ppl are having problems.

gtz: i did email it to the ceo office if u read my post and no reply.

As a happy customer of e2save 2years ago. I must confess it is e2saves gain for you to mess up your cash back claim. But thats business. They honour all rightfull claims. So please stop giving e2save a bad name. They are good. As all MSE people surly ypu should put on your calenders your cash back dates in advance. Thats the game. I personally think the cash back deals are great but may come to an end, simply because we are wise to remember the dates.

E2save have now brought in some very clever tactics.

First they have brought in a new T&C.
They now want you to send Original invoices so if they do not "receive" them you're stuck as they now do not accept duplicates.
This means no original invoice you forfeit the entire cash back for the year.

Then they have raised the "free phone" offer from £30 per month to £40. This means if someone messes up with the cash backs then E2save gets £480 instead of £360 + they get the commission from the phone companies.

If I read correctly they have now a new address (Crewe) for sending the cash back claims. They have decided to carry on with the old
address on their claim form .
This would mean some unsuspecting customers will send to the wrong address. They had done the same tactics when they used the Wednesbury address on the claim forms but the address to be sent was Dunstable.

All of this points to deliberately giving conflicting information to customers so that the customers would default on the cash back.

I guess we will be reading a lot about this by people who have been caught out in the near future.

regarding the address to post to they wrongly rejected mine having been sent to dunstable suggesting tht address is still in use..for now!
  • I can confirm e2save cashback claims are still sent to the Dunstable address except the cashback claims for price match deals taken out through e2save which are sent to the Crewe address to be processed.

    Kind regards,
    Rebecca

Rebecca, there seems to be 'cashback' deals and 'clearance' deals, all with variance on how to claim the cashback. One of your example terms and conditions is informing your customers to take no notice of the terms included with the goods, but that different terms will operate when the phone is a 'price match'. It looks to me like a 'price match' phone isn't exactly that, ie some phones are simply called 'price match'. All of this adds to the frustration that your customers feel and with the passage of time e2save are simply exaggerating that frustration.
Why exactly is it that e2save are frustrating their customers by increasing the amounts of cashback claims they have to make? Why are there now multiple addresses to apply to? Why wont you accept more than one claim per envelope?
All of this nonsense is earning you a poor reputation for customer service. Why don't you advise your peers about the level of unhappiness that exists within your customer base and then report back here about what they propose to do to improve the situation? Do they realise that once a customer has a bad experience that they are unlikely to return for a second experience?
Your terms and conditions are in part nonsensical, and they are frustrating to the extent that they would surely be avoidable under The Unfair Contract Terms Act. I think it is time that The Office of Fair Trading paid you a visit and examined your terms and conditions.

    Need anyone say more...........???????

As mentioned earlier I generously OVER-ESTIMATED the length of time spent on it to point out that it was STILL WORTH the time. If you had read the whole thread, you'd have seen this.

Anyway, does seem like the new T&C are more complicated which is why I avoided cashback this time around. I simply convinced Three to more than half my rental and give me a new phone. ;)
