    found this :-

Watching over your broadband on BT Vision and YouView

    507 – BT Sport 1 SD
    508 – BT Sport 2 SD
    509 – ESPN SD
    510 – BT Sport 1 HD
    511 – BT Sport 2 HD
    512 – ESPN HD

Watching over your TV aerial on BT Vision

    57 – Promotional channel
58 – BT Sport 1 SD (viewing card required)
59 – BT Sport 2 SD (viewing card required)

Watching on the Sky platform (SD/HD channels)

    413/426 – BT Sport 1
    414/427 – BT Sport 2
    417/433 – ESPN

YouView on BT Infinity from BT but can’t find BT Sport

go into the BT Vision App in the Youview box and view BT Sport from the programme guide this will ensure your subscription becomes "live"
I've also found it works if you bought the "Pay once watch forever" satellite deal of a year or two ago. Just use the card number just as you would with a normal sky contract.

Thanks for providing confirmation that BT Sport works on Freesat from Sky.

This link does not mention BT Sport, but for anybody interested in Freesat from Sky:

I wonder what f anyone can help me as I've spent the last hour trawling through BT site and pages on here but either have missed the answer or I'm a bit dim (or both).
I've just signed up to BT sport for my iPad and nexus. I am already a phone/infinity broadband customer. Have I unwittingly signed up for another 12 months? I'm not in a contract right now as far as I am aware its just 'rolling' since my last one expired.

    Hope someone can help. Thanks

    I think so, yes.

    BT advertising stipulates:

If you have more than 12 months left on your BT broadband contract, you can get BT Sport on BT TV or the Sky Digital Satellite Platform for free.
If you have less than 12 months left on your BT Broadband contract, you can get BT Sport on BT TV or the Sky Digital Satellite Platform for free if you sign a new contract for your broadband for a minimum term of at least 12 months.

just in case anyone else has the same question as me i thought i would post an update.
if only using bt sport as an "app" on a phone or tablet you do NOT sign up to a new contract :D

If you are in an Infinity enabled area and getting 7Mbps over ADSL then your line should easily support an infinity connection! When I moved house my ADSL speed would have been 1Mbps, I got Infinity installed and get just under 40Mbps now :T
Local exchange not Infinity-enabled; nor any sign of this happening in the forseeable. Seen 15Mbps quoted by BT as minimum bandwidth requirement for Infinity. If Infinity is successfully delivered with less, it will be heavily influenced by the Last Mile cabling specification, e.g. FTT(H). Sadly, the (now) Virgin cabling ducts stop 350 yards short of my house.:(

Works fine on the desktop so it's my netbook that is the problem.

Currently on hold to BT as have not received new sky viewing card 2 weeks after ordering :(

I eventually got a new card and had to phone up a number of times before finally getting it to work. 6 months later and I have a message saying this is the wrong card for the set top box.

I only watch it occasionally

Already tried that thanks. Tried re-pairing on-line but it said I had already done it ! I'll give them a call shortly.
