It's too late for that lol. Basically everybody agrees fighting is not good , legal advice is a must . Am I right ?
are you trolling this thread? I can't see that you've brought anything of much use to the table.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Look better than. If you still don't see then please remember it is an internet forum and people can write what they see fit as long as it does not contradict forum rules. The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
I think your kids are under the false impression that as you are both still living udner the same roof, then there is still hope that you can make up. You need to both sit down with your kids and tell them that it really is already over, and living together or not won't affect your relationship with them - in fact it may improve as you will get more quality time with them.
As for your ex using money to manipulate - let him. Be there for your kids with time and attention, somthing money can't buy. In the long run they will see through his manipulation, and will come running back. You have to let them make the mistake first though.
Good luck with clearing your debts and selling house - lots of good advice on this site for that.0 -
OP
Be very very careful. If your younger daughter goes to live with your ex, then
1. He may well be able to stop the house being sold until she leaves secondary school.
2. He will get more than 50% of the assets of the marriage.
3. You will have to pay him 15% of your salary as child maintenance until she finishes secondary school and if he is crafty and gets her to stay an extra year that could be until she is 20.
Lots of incentives for daddy to make sure the youngest stays with him.
Do NOT move out until the house is sold, signed sealed and delivered. And get legal advice urgently from a good divorce lawyer. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
