Hi gerogiasdragon i got all my paper work within a week of it all being completed, im just frustrated now as they seem to be taking just as long to re llok at my info .. But on the up side at least its all finalised.0 -
My 6 weeks was up last Friday so left til today and called - helpline lady conceded I needed to ring an 0845 number - googled it - was Transactis but they are no longer dealing any cases and it now all HMRC on the 03000 number in Liverpool - called there - she said award was inhibited as Transactis claim to have sent letter in May (that never arrived) to query parental responsibility! She thinks it was because I had my third baby in only March this year and by May the C/Benefit info possibly hadn't been updated (although Id had my c/benefit amended for the new baby within 3 weeks of the birth!) so she checked the child benefit system and could see the children listed under my NI number whilst I was on phone and very kindly removed the inhibit signal on the award so expecting my final award in a week or so! She did say they had been inundated by follow up calls as Transactis had made life more difficult for them and many letters had not even made it to people!! But she was lovely and very helpful. So fingers crossed I'm on the way to being sorted! Wonder why the other helpline operatives couldn't see/didn't tell me that Transactis had supposedly sent a letter in May, but at least that should hopefully be it!0

Hi All,
I renewed 29/4/13 by post, I also contacted them on the 1/5/13 to change my bank details, i then received a provisional award on the 13/5/13, not heard anything since.
Anyone had theirs finalised? Anyone still on provisional? mine are for last year and this year! receiving new payment amounts as stated in provisional for this year!
Never took this long before!
Should i phoned them or just wait?0 -
Holy cow...I renewed, by phone last weekend, this morning, have logged into online banking to ensure my work expenses are paid in, and there are two payments from WTC and CTC sitting in my account - the random ones which make up the total amount of underpayment I would've received since April. Impressed - not even four working days!0

Hi all,
just an update on mine. Rec'd a letter today asking me to provide evidence that i am a single parent.
They have requested bank statements, utility bills, council tax bills, mortgage statements and a written explanation of why i have made a single claim instead of a joint one.
They are saying my ex partner that i split up with in 2008 is still living with me!!!
Everything they require is in my sole name, my only concern is the amount of maintenance my ex partner gives me for the kids as it is quite alot. Is there a limit on the amount of child maintenance you can recieve? and should i have declared it??? i didnt think it was took into account for tc purposes??
Any help much appreciated, before i return my stuff!

Does your ex get any mail at your house? Is his bank acc registered there? Car tax/insurance? If so it all needs to go to where he is living now.
I would also send copies of his council tax bill/rental agreement for where he lives now to prove you don't live togetherIts all mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter:rotfl:0 -
Hi,
Thanks for the info.
He doesnt recieve mail at my address other than random junk once a month that i throw in bin. He lives at his mums, and as far as i am aware is on electrol roll at that address, he hasnt been on council tax at my address since we split in 2008. He has his own bank account which is registered at his mums address and has been since we split in 2008. He has a works van, so that is registered to work, but his drivers licence is registered at his mums address.
I have gathered all evidence required by tax credits, all bills in my name, council tax in my name.
The only problems I have now is we still have a Mortgage which is in joint names but i cant do anything about this, mortgage company wont allow us to take his name off as it is in negative equity.
The other is a bank account in joint names that I still use even though I have my own, ive just never got round to changing everything over and he wouldnt agree to have his name took off, he also pays me child maintenance into that account as well as extra money for debts that he owes my parents, which I transfer to my mum and dads bank account when he pays me the maintenance. Im only worried because he does pay me alot as he has quite a good job, but we did have loads of debts totalling approx £60,000 not including the mortgage that he agreed he would still pay for when we split up. So the money he gives me is for child maintenance and to pay debts he owes. My concern is should I have declared the maintenance payments when I made my single claim???
Im not sure what to do other than send evidence and hope for best!
They havent requested I send proof of him living elsewhere, should I send this anyway?
They have also asked me to send an explanation as to why I claimed as a single person, what should I write, I cant just put because I am!!!
Any help or advice from anyone who has gone through this would be much appreciated Ive got until 12 August to supply my information or they will stop my payments.
