Most people do. But that's not really the scenario. There's a world of difference between a crying baby and a badly-behaved child."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Not really, not when you are trying for a bit of peace and quiet to relax there isn't, both are equazlly irritating.
It doesn't really matter how you cut this, parents travelling with screaming babies or badly behaved childen are selfish and obviously couldn't care less about their fellow travellers.0 -

If you don't like it, either don't fly or fly 1st class.
People with babies are going to travel, how would you feel if you had a terminal disease, you were bed-bound but your family wouldn't bring your son/grandson of a few months old over because they were worried how other people on a flight would feel over a screaming baby?
Maybe you should think about situations like that before coming across as all high-and-mighty.0 -
invest in a really good pair of noise cancelling headphones. a bit of light music will drown out any cabin noise - well worth the investment for a few hundred quid.0

Babies will make noise from time to time. That doesn't means that the parents doesn't care about others.0 -

I don't really think that I do ome across as all high and mighty. I am saying what I think and I think that parent who take infants and small children on long aircraft trips are selfish and show little or no consideration towards others.
Coming up with imaginary situations to try and excuse this selfishness is ridiculous and childish.0 -
