  • I've received my letter offering me return of charges, letter dated 6th July, it says credited within 14days, how long are people waiting for this to happen? is it the 14days, working or calendar or earlier?

i waited nearly 7 weeks i rung once at 4 weeks, then once at 6 and once at 7th, and then got all my offer letters. final one came this week offerign full amount. (I had been offered 50% - £2700ish. Rung after that offer came in said wasn't happy and asked for full amount back.) this was with Halifax
  • Having been refused a refund from HBOS I have just followed the procedure layed out in previous threads and have been told my claim will be re evaluated and a revised offer put to me in 2 weeks.

In response to my earlier post in which I was given a goodwill gesture of just over half of what I was claming (977.50) I rang them back and have managed to get the amount raised to 1700.00. Needless to say I have accepted this so all that remains now is me to thank Martin and this site for all the help and advice and to say to everyone claiming Stick it out.

Getting really fed up now - 14 days were up on Monday and still no payment. Can't get any reply to the 01977 numbers so tried a 0845 one. Have phoned 4 times to be told different things and basically fobbed off. Latest is they will look into it but it could take up to 14 days!
    It's not good enough!!!!

Will keep phoning them until they get fed up and pay me my money.

    Can I report them?
