Rung number today well about 1 hour ago I think his name was Kevin... anyway said that I would have to wait and should hear in next few weeks (which I should anyway?) I'm going away on Friday so was hoping to have some news before i went, hopefully i'll be back to some good news.
So maybe i'm just been unlucky again?

    Sent claim letter 27/04/07 - received 30/04/07
    Rejection letter 03/05/07
Sent court threat letter giving 14 days 11/05/07 - received 14/05/07
Phoned 01/06/07; 04/06/07 and told will have to wait 8 weeks from original letter ie 21/06/07
Rang 01977 number 18/06/07 and told to expect something in next couple of days.

20/06/07 Just checked my halifax account there (not using it anymore) and there was £181.00 deposited in it!

My claim was for 362.00 + interest so they have paid out half.

Will be calling them for the full amount.

I know the interest is small but should i push for it too?
I guess its the principle of the situation rather than the amount.

    What do you guys think?
hey barry, I would ring and tell them you will accept that as a part payment but that you will negotate for the remaining on the phone there and then. Just continue to be firm and polite and you will be fine. good luck

Barry sorry just re read, I dont think you will get the intrest as the banks know if they offer you the fullish amount and you decline then take them to court for the intrest as well I think the majority of judges will not be to impressed with the case being called for intrest. Sorry again!! Try by all means but I think you will be really lucky if you get it!

I've been waiting since the 31st May on my revaluation and i have just phoned the 'Very Nice Man' on the 01977 number. He was querying how so many people had got his direct line number !!! He says his phone has rang non stop today and that the majority of calls were not on his case list.

Anyway he said he'll review my case today/first thing in the morning and get a offer let out to me !! Progress is being made finally !!!

Did you ring the 'guy' yesterday? How did you get on??

Hi, I rang the 01977 number and managed to get straight through to Graham who was so nice I began feeling guilty ha ha, but still carried on with conversation. He advised me they only say 8 weeks because that is how long they have,he said but they just sit there untill someone picks it up so now he has mine he will sort it asap. He is sending me a letter in the post advising me
what they will do about it. Dont no if this is going to be an offer or explanation again? What do you all think?

I was told 3 weeks ago that they would re-evaluate my claim...on the 0845 tel no....But having read through this thread...and all your comments about ''the nice guy'' ...decided to call him on 01977..... He REALLY was nice ....patient and chatty.....Said that it'd take another few days still. Having read all comments...and success stories...and spoken to Kevin..( the nice guy !!) I feel so charged up......Will keep you all posted as to what happens. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!:T
