  • Many thanks but if it gets to the court stage would it still be okay claiming in England from a Scottish based bank??
  • I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone can help me.

I've taken Yorkshire bank to court and gone the 14 days described on Martins site. The bank didn't respond to this so a week ago I entered a default judgement against the bank. I asked for my money to be paid straight away but still the bank have refused to respond to my actions. How long do I let this go on and what do I do next?

This is really frustrating and I just want too know where to go from here.

    Thanks Katiemay2007

I rang them today to tell them of my intention to send a letter to the commissioner as it has been more than the allocated time scale for them to send me statements.I sent the letter to them in april they cashed the cheque i sent too.The man i spoke to said to me that the request must have gone missing between my branch and the statement request office. He has said i should have them in a week or so but it sounded really vague what should I do.
  • Here's a strange one. I have completed 2 online claims for refund of fees through the claim-online but the YB are only defending 1!! Also it's been moved to my local court but no date set yet. YB have until the 29th July to put in a defence.
  • I have recieved a response from the court telling me Yorkshire Bank are entering a defence. They are 7 days into the 21 days to do this. Has anyone had success with YB and if so how far did they go and how long did it take?
