I sent my first template letter to Yorkshire bank, and 3 weeks after that i received a letter from them asking me to sign a letter, to give them permission to take the £10 out for my statements. They then said that the 40days would start from when they took the £10 from my account. The 40 days are up tomorrow, but after reading some things from this forum, i am expecting to receive a letter saying due to high demand my statements will be delayed. I shall wait and see. Yorkshire Bank are so annoying!! I shall let you know what happens next.

Pleased to announce that after filing a defence to our credit card account claim...YB have rolled over and sent us a cheque for the full amount. :j

Now we are just waiting to see what happens re: our big claim (the current account.)

Moneyclaim have already ruled in our favour on 6th June but apparantly they have had problems with the online service (swamped, they said!) and the bank had filed an acknowledgement two days later which has led to judgement being suspended (?)

Will keep you informed of progress. For anyone out there feeling disheartened by the Yorkshire Bank: Don't. Just keep on kicking A**!! :T
:j Capital One: Claimed back £267.48 interest Received back EVERYTHING

Yorkshire Bank Visa: Claiming £163.84 Received back EVERYTHING

Yorkshire Bank Current Account: £4500 - Recieved back everything.

Money saved so far: £100+ on train tickets; £100+ on a washing machine; £52 on travel insurance. £20 a month on shopping delivery; £100 on car insurance...

...Thanks Martin! You deserve a Knighthood! :money:

We gave then a call and a very nice lady explained about the computer problems and e-mailed us a simple form to fill in, which we have printed out and sent back by Royal Mail. I just had to take a few details from my application online ie amount, interest claimed etc.

By the time they get it, YB's 14 days should be up and as I haven't heard anything from them, I'm hoping that the judge will judge the case (again) in our favour.

    Good Luck. :cheesy:

can i ask which court you were assigned cos im within the 28 days waiting for defence from yorkshire bank and im assigned to northampton even tho i live in hull..
its worrying what may happen if like you they reject the default:confused:

mine to was at Northampton, spoke with them & was rejected as i had not completed the forms correctly, but is a slim chance they could return asking me to complete & return for their judgement.
    So fingers crossed
