I've only just sent my first DPA letter this weekend so can't help with your question (I'm worried that I may not have dated the cheque! duh!). Anyway, do you know if they have cashed your cheque yet?

Hiya Ezza, i am in the exact same possition as you at the min, i was put through a recorded message too....I WAS SO ANNOYED....I have also sent that letter off too. I was meant to recieve my statements by June 19th. It is nice to hear some people won with YB though congrats lmh1081 and charlize. wdddddd:)

Hi yes the cheque was cashed in may.

I received a cheque for £2,500.00 from YB £1,000.00 less than they owe me - ive sent it back rejecting the same they have until the Court hearing on thurs 28th to pay up.

You can send them a Letter Before Action giving 14 days to produce the statements. Should be one on this site some place.

Success!!? Sort of. The is the first time I've heard of YB paying out anything! Can you tell me how long it has taken you? I've been trying since January and feel like banging my head against a brick wall. Just tried chasing them up on the phone only to be put through to the automated service. Very annoyed I rang again and demanded that I talk to someone, she relctantly put me through. I was advised that I should've had a reply by now and that they will ring me within half an hour ....... still waiting!!

i rang the glasgow office where i was told the legal department dont have a phone!! only correspondence by fax and post so i faxed through my rejection letter - i requested my staements in december and then issued the claim with court in march so its taken about 3 months
