I received a letter from Northampton Court saying YB are going to defent & giving them I think until 29th July. What happens now?0

Ive just recieved the defence notes from the Yorkshire bank and havent got a clue what i need to do with them...its all mumbo jumbo to me..
The only thing i understand is they say I havent included account details in my claim...which as i used the template from here i dont see how they cant know it all (it is their own account numbers from their own bank, which ive detailed on numerous letters to them..!)
Please please please what do i do to reply to this as i have until 12th july (this may seem a long time but im out of the country from saturday).
Help!
Have you been asked to reply by YB or by the court?

If and when YB defend you will get a copy sent to you from MCOL Northampton.
Then about 2 to 4 weeks later you will get notice from your local court giving you further instructions.

You'll receive a letter from your local court when your case is transferred from Northampton to your local court. They may enclose an Allocation Questionnaire for you to fill in or they will score this bit out of the letter they send which is quite normal.
You'll find links to relevant threads like the Court Bundle Checklist along with a guide to the AQ in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature. Meantime you just have to wait until you hear further from the court.0 -

If the letter you received is from the bank or their solicitor please read this thread before replying to them.

Hi this is my first post as I only found the site today and took ages to log in !!!
Anyway not even sure what I am asking' maybe re assuarance only'' I am going through the the claims process and its got to the stage of having a court date, 30th July. As the banks solicitors are defending all the claim. But yet they made me a silly derisory offer of £200. I am claiming' £5,385. but will settle for £4,500. So I refused there misliy offer'' Now its all gone silent. Only got letter from court few days ago with date to attend.
Feeling bit nervy about it all. any re assurance would help. As anyone on here gone through the same with Yorkshire Bank ? Their solicitors even said they were defending it because I did not exsist''' because the bank had not given them my account and sort code numbers'' How silly of them. I have sent all my evidence to their solicitors and the court. I am now just waiting.
Anyway goodluck to successful claimers. Hope I can post in the future to say I was successful'' but been on with this now for 15 weeks.

A Service Charge generally means you benefit from something and they'd also be hard pushed to say that the charges benefited you!
The terms and conditions of 6 years ago don't really look much different to what they are today (look on your banks website to find current T&Cs) but there is an archive website that someone pointed me to where I did manage to find the published T&Cs of 6 years ago for my bank (amazing what some people copy & keep) if you're really desperate I'll dig them out but there is no mention of the 'P' word.
Cheers Loz Ive had a look on the ybonline site and cant find the t&c's for there current account0 -
