Katsbubb... did the yorkshire bank send you any information during the 28days they had to respond with the court request? Ive heard nothing from them & concerned they will not respond.
What is the fee for sending bailiffs in ?0 -
I am taking Yorkshire bank to court and they have put in a defence. What happens between now and the 28 days, do I have to do anything? or do I wait to see their defence. It seems Yorkshire bank takes everyone to court, but have they settled before judgement or made to by the court?0

We have two claims against Yorkshire Bank using moneyclaim (see below.)
Just before our holiday I asked for judgement against them re: our smaller claim.
Have returned from holiday to a letter from Northampton County Court telling me that judgement was entered against the defendant on 29th May...but also in my mailbox is a lengthy letter from the Yorkshire Bank (dated the 25th) telling me that they were going to defend the claim and they had enclosed a copy of the defense. I double checked the claim numbers and they were the same.
Has anybody else experienced this and what does it mean?
Also, re our larger claim: this is for a joint account but I have claimed in my name only on moneyclaim. Could this be a potential problem?:j Capital One: Claimed back £267.48 interest Received back EVERYTHING
Yorkshire Bank Visa: Claiming £163.84 Received back EVERYTHING
Yorkshire Bank Current Account: £4500 - Recieved back everything.
Money saved so far: £100+ on train tickets; £100+ on a washing machine; £52 on travel insurance. £20 a month on shopping delivery; £100 on car insurance...
...Thanks Martin! You deserve a Knighthood! :money:0 -
There is a form you can get from the court to cover this but I don't remember the number, so best to ring the court and ask0

Does anyone have a copy of YB terms and conditions please the earlier the better0

Hope someone can give me some advise on next step please use to have current account with Yorkshire Bank they allowed me to run up £750 overdraft and then closed my account without notice (have not been able to repay any overdraft yet) have taken steps of reclaiming bank charges which total £1170 without success I am now up to court stage and wondered if might be better going to financial ombudsman, if they would repay my bank charges I would be able to repay my overdraft (they are threatening to take me to court now!)0

Hi, sorry i've read through so many posts on this board that im slighty confused as to my next step. Am kind of glad to see im not the only one having serious issues with the Yorkshire Bank.
My situation is that I sent the first letter including £10 cheque at the endof March, i received a letter from the 2 weeks later advising me they had 40 days FROM THE DAY the cheque was cashed which was 4 days after I sent the first letter asing for my statements.
I have received no further communication from them and my statements have still not been sent to me. I have called them on 3 occaisions but got fobbed off and told "they were still being produced"
2 weeks ago i called them again and got the same response so I then completed the Ombudsmans form which i got from their site after seeing it on here. I included the bank statement which shows when the cheque was cashed, the letter i got off here and sent to the back and the letter they sent me back saying they had 40 days.
My question is :
What do i do now ?? Should I just assume the FOS will get in contact with them and at "some" point in the future i'll recieve my statements or should I be sending the bank another letter informing them that i have sought assistance from the FOS ??
Thanks in advance.....0
