Take it, you won't often get £150 offered to you like that.0

...then once you have the cheque, cashed it, spend it on a Chinese Banquet, then eaten a tube of Rennies, you then write a letter of complaint to the Information Commissioner grassing them up.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -

I am concerned having read the thread re Cldesdale bank which is the same company any advice??
I have also received a £100 goodwill offer this week from Y B solicitors and given 10 days to reply. I have written back (and posted through recorded delivery) and asked for the full amount £550 or I will reclaim through MCOL -with interest. Looks like they are now beginning to comply!!!!!
Started this back in February hopefully all resolved by June!:beer:0 -

Certainly its a "breach of something" but it is also human error that you didn't know about until the bank told you about it. If you don't think its enough you then have to decide on a figure yourself and ask them.0 -

Because when you put in an SAR you are asking for data, if you ask directly for statements you are asking for a service which has an associated fee.
Please see my popular misconceptions thread for more info on it.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -
