I requested the Yorkshire bank dept that sent me a letter but my court procedure states Clydesdale..?
Have i screwed up..?..?..?0 -
Nope you haven't, it's perfectly possible to start court action against a bank in Scotland even if you live in England. They may be subject to Scottish law, but they are also subject to UK law too.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0

hi
i have just sent my first letter to yorkshire bank requesting my staitments,
but my question is ,
yorkshire, charge me £35 for returning a cheque or dd
& £8 per day until i clear what i am over drawn , which sometimes is done by a cheque that has cleared & taken me in the red, or their own £25 monthly charge has teken me in the red
& on top of that then they chage me £25 at the end of the month for being over drawn in the month as well
so can i claim all the lot back ?
that is the £35 for returned check or DD
then the £8 per day i get for being in the red
& then the £25 they charge for me getting in the red in that month
thanks0 -

Bit more help please!!!
Do I use the figures I sent with letter 1 and letter 2 on the mcol application or do I need to recalculate using martins template on the date I make the claim? I DONT KNOW IF I AM MAKING ANY SENSE! Basically if I can only claim for six years, do I claim six years from date of court claim or six years from my first request from YORKSHIRE BANK.
Thank you so much - I would have given up by now if it wasnt for all your help.
