EEEK indeed Bob - that was my reaction - Mr GGod went to see it yesterday (drive by not actual viewing) and liked it.
Maty thank you I could see the houndlets scamping about those trees
KC - what a difference eh? I can't get over prices and houses. Having never had one I owned I've never fathomed it all.
Cakes well my fitness app tells me that bread is as bad as cake and I'm so addicted to it!
Today is the third day of work but first of the week - and first full day back - weekend were a series of shorter blasts.
Bright and blustery here - need to get on with some work - plan out my working week between womble and learning factory.
Its going to be a busy one.
I also need to make a count down plan.
A few things to sort out life wise before the big move.
I'm really thankful the whole of my bit of the wedding was paid gradually and by cash - so whilst this month has had a ferry travel trip on it - its not an extraordinary big spend month.
Bit shocking but it did sort of work that way so no debt from it.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Thats fantastic news, Pippi, just the extra ferry crossing this month!
I've had a bit of a wakeup call about finances, now that I'm well, I really need to get my arris in gear, and stop faffing about with bits of work on the house. Got an income to-do list and everything
Have a good one - I'll look forward to seeing your countdown2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

WOW!!!!!
Not many people can come through a wedding and say the only hit this month was an extra ferry trip, well done you. Loving the pics on FB by the way. It looks a wonderful day and so you and Mr Flowers
Exciting that he did a drive by on the house, you may have got him hooked and now just need to reel him in:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

Morning all - thank you for the popping in!
I have particulars of the hoose and Mr G went to visit it - its lovely BUT - and I say but and duck for boot lobbage
Its right on the main road and a really fast road which means car travel everywhere too and from house and potential for doggy/chicken escapage/squashage. This is probably a deal breaker no matter how lovely the house is I need to be able to walk from where my door is to *somewhere* and I don't want my charges squished.
However its gorgeous - unusual and you're all right - won't come up often so- worth a proper look.
Agent has got more info on garden for me and getting plans/dimensionspriorities and all that.
Its also expensive - although I'm assured affordable - however I don't have a job yet.
So todays plan is to update CV and update LinkedIn and start to put the balls in motion with various agencies/contacts.
We also need an agent to look at his house and get it on the market (its not on yet) so I think this house will vamoose - but tis certainly a motivator
Thank you for all kind comments on bloglet/fb regarding my brushed appearance and our lovely frugal/looked opulent day.
And thanks for the new few folks adding me on the book of face - always nice to put faces to names
Todays plan is thus.
Uni to prep for classes and work on my teaching qualification
Walk hounds
Visit a chum for a free cuppa and natter and cuddle her babbies
Meet DD for shopping after work
Head to bodybalance in town and start to get myself fit for xmas.
Need to check banks/transfer money for rent
Pay some off CC
Make a money plan - see when/what can be achieved before we move
Make a meal plan
Check out free flights to see if I can meet up with DH
Sort out a Skype time with son and make a birthday plan with him
Write some thank you cards - I have many folks to thank and my arm will rightly be aching at the end of it.
Happy dances.

Well trained on here I think. Martin I love you mate and all you lovely lot. (still clearly on a love high from the wedding)
Just waiting for final bill from venue who insisted we had better things to do that actually pay for the wedding the day after so we tootled home quite bemused.
He's quite taken with it if I'm honest and likes the area - the road is an issue but keeping an open mind. I'm leaving him a day or so to see if he mentions going for a viewing.
If not I'll perhaps do a wee nudgelet although being 5ft and him being over 6ft - he's not easily nudged. I may require a ladder or a piano trolley.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hmm, a fast road in the countryside - if it was a *busy* road as well, I think that might be a deal breaker for me. Down here in the far sooth, nearly every "country" road that can take a car in each direction qualifies as that, and its so dangerous as a pedestrian, especially on the corners ... when you factor in fur littlies escaping ... well, is all I can think!
Still hoping you both like it tho :T2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey up dearies - its quite cute the post wellyfest high isn't it. I'm still giggling.
Busy road for me is a deal breaker KC - and the house has gone to closing. So I'm doubtful we'll even go and neb it properly. However as my granny use to say 'whats for you won't go past you'. Whilst that house was extraordinary - that region of Scotland is full of quirky little places near pretty little beaches so we'll see. We also need to sit down and consider the impacts of a large mortgage - currently Mr Godlikechap has a wee mortgage which allows him to adventurise a lot. We need to really work out not what we can financially afford but what's our priorities - I'm happy with a wee hoosey with a garden - we just need to make sure just cos he can spend a lot (or be lent a lot) that if we don't need it we don't use it.
Life would be dull as dishwater in our house without adventures.
Today - well the plan is to work like a beast in one job - then hop over and work like a beast in another.
Didn't make exercise class last night but did sleep - so I'm sure I needed it.
Most of yesterday's list is done
Today I must
Put cheques/cash into bank
Write up spreadsheet with pressies to write proper thank yous
Work hard -
Take mutts for haircuts in town in the afternoon - 6monthly routine
Meals from stores
Empty one bag from last week - all bags are now in the house but not emptied
Think about Nov budgets - thus far no trips away
Book a trip in Dec for work on hairyplane
Look at xmas hols and think of when we can get off island
Write up timesheet and invoices for both works
Fold up nicely clean napkins and send some as thank you's to folks
OK so that's me the now - have a good un.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
