  • Congratulations Mr and Mrs Flowers, thanks for the quick squint at the pics, it looked lovely and the cheery red berry-and-welly theme was fab. I would not have guessed about the Nutella jars if you hadn't said! You all looked wonderful and so happy and the almost-grown-ups also did you proud. Hope you have a smooth journey home.

    Hey thanks guys

Wik - please NO MORE FOOD SHOPPING. loving the clan name change!!!

:) I'm still half broken - well done lovely girl - need to get those recipes started on the grub blog! £551 to feed 100 folks is epic!!!!! You're a cooking legend lass. And clever too.

And for those wishing a peek one of the cheapest (sort of), largish (sort of) muddy (very) weddings on the planet - link here

All the flowers cost <£10 cos I broke the budget and bought a bunch of red roses to help romanticify it a bit. Which no, we didn't need but I did indulge. Martin would be cross - but it added a bit of something extra. And we needed a few extra for folks to throw at the rock genus. The others my chums raided from their gardens for free and turned up with bin bags of things like ivy just cos they got a panicked text on the way......

  • Thanks Trog - my chums wifey is addicted to nutella so she had 30 of them in a box in the shed. Instant matching vases.

Looks around to find the grown up.

    :)

Autumn and red just works wonders and gives lots of free stuff :)

waves and thanks for the good wishes everyone - I'm still giddy!

Mara in those wellyboots and that wig - tasty is NOT what I'd say. I had to have a lie down as I hurt myself laughing so much!

Amazing what a hair brush can do for your age and looking young. That and haemorrhoid cream applied liberally to your chops. (joke, I forgot to apply it liberally to my eye wrinkles as per cosmo article.)

Hey it was calm but the roads were awful - thankfully home now and really tired but not able to sleep.

    Hope you're good.

    Morning Pippi

Hope you are snoring gently, rather than still awake at this time. (Greying then remembers you are supposed to be going to work, so wake up!)

    Gorgeous pics - simply gorgeous.

I really don't think Martin will be cross about a £10 *splurge* <--- irony intended - on wedding flowers. I think he would be very proud of the efforts of *clan McB* for the beauty that they all brought to the proceedings. The roses were a splendid addition, but then your bouquet and other flower berry ideas were already sumptuous. Well done EH too for capturing the essence of the day :D

Hope you have a good day at work, down to earth with a bump eh? Oh, that reminds me, I spotted something on Rhonda Jean's blog that I thought would interest you - I think it is called a 'flick book' or something - it is to do with using recycled objects in your 'backyard', some of the ideas you'll know of. But the *welly-dawgs*? Not seen them before (quite a few 'pages' along in the 'book'). Link HERE

    Have a good day.
