  • Hey there KC -- I'm sorry of course I'll take care - sandwiches and cupasoup munched in front of fire (free logs).

Its amazing how much one banana can make everything taste!

    So progress for today.

I made a spreadsheet of projected earnings from self employment etc until we leave here.

I peeked at the cc's and put them and the OD on the spreadsheet.

I also put all the household spends on and now know exactly what's coming in/out.

    I also paid

    £10 to the Captain card
    £10.68 to the Terrible Card
    and then I checked banks

    Expense paid in £72 (petrol)

So I have paid this off the Terrible card as that's where I put my petrol each month.

Its a start. I think I might start a new focus diary as I really seem to have lost the plot here with wellyfest shinanagans!

I've enough to pay my debts before I leave and to save if I keep focus.

    Focus
    Focus
    Focus

Whilst I have no mojo - this is a huge start.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

Thats a great re-focussing! And erm, welliefest was bound to wreak havoc on focussing on debt repayment!

Talking of bananas (as you do :) ) I actually made the recipe that Greying linked to, for banana cake - didn't cook it in the right tin, one was too shallow and one was too thick, but the texture and the taste were brilliant! Very chuffed that I did actually manage to freeze the bananas, and then un-freeze them to use :)

Focus, focus ... I've come back online to look at the trading again, for the first time since summer - still seem to be trades there for the taking, so if I ever *do* manage to take them, all will be well on the debt/pension front :)

I like your Flaubert quote ...
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Oh I'm so pleased that it was nice KC. And, such good luck with the trading.

    :)

My mojo is slacking but I've started a new set of witterings to get me on the road to debt free before we 'flee'.

    New diary HERE

With great thanks to all who've helped me regain my MSE focus - time to get that final bit of debt slaying under out belts and focus on finding a suitable castle 'sooth' for Rock Gods and chooks.

Its been a blast I hope you continue to pop in my new pad :)

(Goodbye! And, thanks for all the fish)
