I have no idea of how people feel without chocolate, but I did have palpitations when I spotted your cheeseless state! I hope the situation has been rectified now? :D

Mum2One Nasty and chilly and damp here today - and yes, it was cold overnight again wasn't it! Why is it when the forecast is for cold or wet it's invariably right, whereas when it's for sunshine and lovelyiness it always seems to be wrong?! :rotfl:

  • EH - I know a life without cheese (shudders) you'll be pleased to hear a little packet of emmental is now gracing the fridge shelves looking resplendent.

M21 - Hello - I'm current donned in a polo neck, a fleece with the hood up - leggings and fleecy pjs and socks. Perfectly normal bed attire up here. I think I put about the same on to work outside as I do to go to bed. Himself thinks its most amusing.

Tips a hoody bedtime night night to you all.

Fantastic class tonight with a 'guest' speaker on polytunnels and how to do it in the windy north. Brilliant - OK so we all got carried away and he spoke for 2.5 hours instead of one and I was fifty minutes late to pick up DD but hey that's horticulture for you!

    Living on the edge.

    Have a good un tomorrow.

Didnt' do much in the way of DFW today
Did put wages in the bank
Did book the youngest mutlet in kennels for xmas
Did buy some reduced crumpets/pitta and yoghurts
Did buy milk for work which came home as we had too much

Did buy chips for tea OK so £1.30 isn't much and I had a really long day working at both jobs which at this time of year overlap into a giant long day - but think of the beans and further into teaching ticket each day. One day I will actually be registered to actually do this you know - beware - many folks may be bored senseless in the process. And some nights you just need chips.

    :)

DD is a bit miffed I was late, can't say I blame her - but as I operate a free lift service and try and plan work around the petrol (to claim it back) then I can't help it if classes run over.

I don't think she's talking to me - she had to sit in the local sports centre (perfectly warm) for a while waiting for me.

Then again she is a teenager, and prone to bouts of not talking to me - thems the breaks.

Sleep tight - I'll be dreaming of my perfect polytunnel.

Oh and of course Mr RG - as he's on a flight here tomorrow - first time I've seen him since the wellyfest.

That be nice eh - pity we're both working tomorrow!

  • Oh I lost a post - how annoying is that.

    Pah.

    Morning all

    Basically it said

Find passport from safe place its currently hiding
    Pick up Mr RG
Lunch meeting in town with work
    Paperwork and printing all afternoon
Pick up old fashioned 16 drawer chest thing from work (bought with wedding money :)) to do up - more utilitarian than pretty but with a bit of elbow grease and some paint stripper I'm sure it will look really bonnie
Tonight will be something from freezer maybe fajhitas
Slump on sofa with Mr RG in front of a cosy fire.
    Maybe watch a movie.

Have a good un chaps :)

Highly relieved to hear about cheese-drought being over - and emmental is a mighty fine choice, may I say. :D

Can I point out that the bit I've bolded in your post, and the lines immediately below it - contradict one another. ;) Particularly in the light of the great long working day you had too. The chips thing too - definitely a necessary purchase. Particularly in the light of the great long working day you had too. ;) :T

Pah to DD misbehaving - if free lifts are required then it has to be accepted that they have to fit in around other life-happenings. Hurrah to arrival of Mr RG arriving though - give him our love! xx

  • Thanks chaps - well if we hadn't both been snoring by 9pm infront of the fire - pathetic really.

He came straight off the plane and into work calls/etc - which doesn't help his head swelling (he thinks he's some kind of mathematical genius too).

Waves a good morning to you - todays plans - aye paperwork and a bit of outdoor work - couple flights to book and various bits.

Off to catch up with life and then make a proper work plan for the day! I have a rather large list -we'll see how that goes......

    Have a great one everyone.
