I hope your veg talk is super interesting tonight, but I hope DD doesn't have to wait too long for her taxi home eitherYou'll miss her when she's at uni........
:D
Good to have you back and 'about':D
Greying
Oh you do make me giggle - and here's me just grateful for the old crust and scabby raspberry cane folks throw my way.
:rotfl:
DD yes well I will miss her very much but not the foot tapping and eye rolling (generally in combo - quite a skill)talk was fab and I came home with a giant *free* leek for my exploits, always good, we like a good leek.
I'm not feeling fab I must say and potentially out again tonightbut for now I'm tucked down for a bit reading about all of your exploits.

Dear fabulous folks - I'd like some motivation if I may, just a wee dodd, if anyone's got any going.
I just can't get myself on the boil at the mo.
On the positive, I'm full of soup and warm (ish) which is more than can be said for a lot of folks.
*chants to get some momentum going in her own wee universe and clear her wee noggin*
Some cool/scary things
5 weeks til honeymoon
7 months til we move down to be with Mr RG
8 months of salary here left
So far today is a NSD.
I need to find out if I can get a copy of MS Office free from work
I need to walk mutts locally later
I need to put fire on (free wood) if I'm staying home later
I need to make a packed lunch for tomorrow as I'm out from 7.30 am all day
I need to download local Food Bank invite onto phone (save paper) in case I need it and find out how we can help (personally and via work)
Food from stores and more soup to makeTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

**chucks all the motivation beans over the fence to Pippi**
Hope you're still warm and well-fed  on which subject - since you're out from 7.30 ALL DAY (excuse me shouting :rotfl:) you need snacks as well as lunch
Plus, on the subject of killing DD ... think of the paperwork  that alone should put you offor you could just tell her how you admire her dexterity as she taps her toe and rolls her eyes at you, that'll drive her crazy :rotfl:
I'm having my first working week back fully at work (even if that means sitting at my desk in my office upstairs, so to speak) ... its very odd, but much more enjoyable than being virus-y2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey KC sorry to hear you've been all virus-y -
but glad to see you've managed to get back to work.
Good call on DD I shall try that.
And I promise to pack a lunch and several snacks - I'm heading to an open day for our local Food Bank later with work so whilst I want to be 'fed' my inner noggin wants is mindful of others without. Although given my propensity to eat, I think I'll pack enoughfor both me and my colleague!
Which I know sounds all 'dramaish' but its not I'm just a bit sad that such things are needed but hopeful that I can contribute both food from us like many of you do and professionally with the LFHW work we do perhaps we can help more than we know at the moment.
Either way its going to be an eyeopener.
And thank you for the motivation beans.I shall plant some and hope to grow a forest

Ive decided Im fed up of dodging Christmas, so I am embracing it and singing along to christmas songs on youtube, driving my staff mad, 1- because its christmas and 2- because I cant carry a tune in a bucket. I think Ill look out some sparkly twinkling lights this weekend, time to bling up my life !
I am fed up being fed up and unmotivated, the depressing short days are going to be sparkling and filled with fairy lights ! Ho Ho Ho !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -

The idea of driving folks mad appeals to me greatly. I'm thinking of twinkly lights (or at least) tinsel on the very posh wellyboots. Will be festive enough to carry it off I think!
What a great idea as I cannot hold a tune, I may join you - we generally (and hopefully always will continue to) go away at xmas - so we embrace it all whilst spending all our cash on our holidaywe avoid all present buying and have embargo's with most chums/rellies so the swapping of goods is not required.
However I may follow your lead and dig out the fairy lights and put them up in the hoose. Why not.
The days are getting shorter but not long til we tip the corner and they start getting longer - only 5 weeks!
The posh wellys are also heading to 'French france' for xmas. They (like me) cannae wait. I hear Mr RG has 'matching onzies' on the agenda for xmas day frolics - whilst I'm a mere 5ft - his 6 ft + stature I'm sure will look cracking in a suitably silly onzie.

In that case, I suspect the 'on-zies' are going to be cast 'off-zies' pretty soon into the honeymoon....;);):p:T

I'm not sure I have much in the way of a motivational pep-talk, but at least I can give you a laugh - have you seen these? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2502711/Do-love-ANYONE-The-person-onesie-goes-sale-Xmas.html
It sounds as though you are in danger of overdoing things again; try to have a bit of a rest between rushing about! And soup sounds good on cold wintry days.
Thought of you earlier as I just changed DD's bedding to rainbow stripes and she was very happy and excited about it!
By the way went to Lidl today and they had ladies' wellies in blue, red and purple for £7.99. Solid colours that is, not all together.
Hope your Mojo comes back tomorrow Pippi!0 -
Greying you do make me giggle - it will be sub-zero and I think my son is tagging along! Onzies ON I think
Trog lovely girl how nice to see you. That link made me giggle.
I think the issue is that due to a reshuffle at work, my job has changed and I'm no longer 'hands on' with womble hq as much - and moved more into a lead role in LFHW - which is ace, but as I'm quite a hands on mucky kinda gal - its a bit of an adjustment.
Soup is good.
I think you're right - instead of rushing about I should think about the reshuffle and figure how using my time now best suits my new role and my own sense of direction.
I know I mumble on - but there you are.
So whilst I'm mainly 'hands off' I have spent a rather early and quicker than expected morning 'on the bins' counting stuff.
Meeting later but as the time was allocated to the 'bins' was shorter than expected I'm catching up with paperwork from home and trying to think about how best to allocate my time.but now its time to make a cuppa and attack my packed lunch.
Sending mojo vibes out there.
Today's other plans include
Making a nice meal later
Picking up DD when in town if she's ready
Making a short shopping list - we def need tea bags
Walk el mutts possibly at beach enroute/after food bank meeting
Maybe some baking we do have extra eggs
Play around with the Libre office that Martin recommended as a free download.
