Take care out there Pippi, theres an immense amount of water lying around ...seems to have dried up a bit above for now, Caithness is no longer shrouded in greyness, so maybe time to take doggie out for a paddle along the road... Call out the coastguard if im not back by teatime ...Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0

Im hoping the coast guard found you - what a wet day!
Morning all
A very full on week for me and a workshop at the end of it on Saturday so lots and lots to do.
Money is squeakier than a mouse's moustache - so I need to keep a canny eye and avoid spends until I'm paid. (which is who knows when, the joys of self employment) all cushions have been sucked up by a less than efficient student finance situation which will be fine soon but until it is all reserves are poured into DS's account for him upcoming rent.
I think we need oil again. Whilst I can don a blanket in the house the water is oil too so we need it for showers and alike.
Off to the coal face - I have lunch at work - so nsd for me I hope today!

DS is still waiting for his loan to come through so I heartily agree with you.

It will be OK eventually - its the immediate cash flow which is a nuisance.

Today I did spend - you think you're OK then banana's strike.
Or the lack of them
I had a 42p voucher and a 77p bunch of bananas so the net wasn't very much so I paid cash.:rotfl:
TBH I had banana's in the basket at the local coop the other day - but they wanted to charge 22p each for them.
Um, no - they're about 70p a kilo in town, I know this as I buy them regularly - so in some ways its my own fault I spent today rather than be ripped off the day when I was spending - so we had a small, shortlived banana emergency.
:T
I've just finished paperwork for the night (hours to catch up on from being away) - and I'm off to make a snack before bed. I know its late but I've not eaten much today aside a bagel and a cupasoup.
More paperwork tomorrow - deep joy. Its never ending sometimes.
I hope you're all well and sleep like little toasty folks.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I got paid - well technically I got paid yesterday but only got the text saying 'you've got mail' today.
Morning world did someone turn down the temps or what?
A really LONG admin/planning day today - might start this off with a scamp to get the vit d levels up a bit.

Temperature levels turned down here too Stripes - but never fear, I'm bouncing with welliefest excitement again after hearing you got your mug in the paper!
I also have an "invoice not yet paid" scenario so squeaky finances - I entirely sympathise. Glad yours sorted itself out before the banana drought became more critical. You've reminded me that I need to do a mini co-op shop at some stage soon as I have divi vouchers to spend.
Oh, and I hate to tell you my lovely, but you didn't look pretty on your wedding day - you looked !!!!IN' GORGEOUS!! You ask MrRG - he'll tell you! (Or MrEH for that matter, who commented unprompted how lovely and happy you looked!) :kisses3:

Nether me dear are use to seeing me uncaked with mud and not wrapped in sixteen layers. It was probably the shock that did it!

I saw it for a bit KC but I've been at it all day.
Happy though got lots of spreadsheets and end of year stuff reconciled.
Sad that that makes me happy but you know what I mean.
Cupasoup for brekkie, omelette for lunch, Caulicheese for teaall from the stores.
Used up the last of the odds and sods of cheese.
I'll not panic until tomorrow.
I do need to pop out in a bit and I do need petrol. So probably an essentials spend day rather than a frivvy one.
