Being complete Devil's Advocate ... getting ready to duck ... how often do perfect properties like this come up?
I have no idea of the answer but if very infrequently then may be worth doing some work on, if it's every other week then it's property !!!!!! drool.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

I want you to yack on about your wedding forever too :j
And more kilts too :j Sorry Mr McFlowers is away sooth tho, rats.
I was only thinking of it because I bought so *much* ground almondsOh, and just to be the resident smarty-pants. I have made my own almond paste (marzipan) many, many moons ago, when I was a keen young thing
I would say it gets very sticky with the egg whites/icing sugar, there is no way on this earth that it is cheaper than wandering into the supermercado and buying a block of the stuff. But does it taste better? hull yep! Thankfully we no longer go the 'iced cake' route at chrimbobs.
along with the coriander, I think :rotfl: just wanting to use it up, really. What have I volunteered myself for
Sorry Pippi! I remembered they leave you cold too late - its such an advantage to you, though, never to have become addicted to refined sugarPippilongstocking wrote: »I'm sorry but cakes in general and Christmas cake in particular are my idea of torture. But I do appreciate a good 'icing+water' stand back and watch incident as much as the next lady.
Goodluck with the marzipan KC sounds like it will be yummy - and if anyone can do it you can too!
Photos please

Ooh ... thats lovely. Prices are so weird up and down the country, aren't they ... I couldn't resist putting this one on to show you: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-41418388.html?backListLink=%2Fproperty-for-sale%2Fmap.html%3FlocationIdentifier%3DREGION%255E93554%26insId%3D1%26minBedrooms%3D3%26maxBedrooms%3D3%26displayPropertyType%3Dhouses%26oldDisplayPropertyType%3Dhouses%23_includeSSTC%3Don%26auction%3Dfalse%26displayPropertyType%3Dhouses%26locationIdentifier%3DREGION%255E93554%26maxBedrooms%3D3%26minBedrooms%3D3%26oldDisplayPropertyType%3Dhouses%26previousSearchLocation%3DBrighton%26radius%3D0.0%26searchLocation%3DBrighton%26searchType%3DSALE%26secondaryDisplayPropertyType%3Dsemidetachedhouses%26useLocationIdentifier%3Dfalse%26box%3D-0.18180%2C-0.15305%2C50.85107%2C50.86332%26popupPropertyId%3D41418388&fromMap=true its at the end of the road I used to live, completely normal for the area. Note that its a nice, but ordinary, 3 bedder suburban house ...:eek::eek: prices haven't shifted in 3 years either, thats what the nice ones were going for when I sold my doer-upper in 2010 - its all the Londoners who want to live there (I did my share of that too!)Pippilongstocking wrote: »2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
