    Waves to Bob ;)

Well I've not really much to report - banks are (well) a bit banky but OK all the holiday shinangians came in on budget.

Kids (or young adults as they now are) are residing in Chez Papa's for the rest of the summer so we're eating out of the cupboards.

    Well that's the theory.

With that in mind this weeks meal plan looks like this

Spag bog with lamb mince/soy - from freezer - toms& spag from cupboards, onions from plot :)
Tues - Chilli - rehash of the above with beans chucked in and smokey spices ;) rice from the jar on the shelf. Also made some veggie chilli from mushrooms etc in fridge for veggie visitors
Wed - Fish surprise - what it says on the tin - random frozen fish and probably rice/risotto - veggie risotto for guests with halumi cheese
Thurs - Omelettes from eggs swapped for veggies at our first ever food swap. For both :)
Friday - not sure yet - maybe burritos or lasagne if the chilli wasn't used up
Sat - off on boat :)

Well that's a start isnt' it.

Must get out to the plot and find out what veg I have.

Must also pay extra food money saved into CC

    :)

Hi Pippi and Hi BOB :hello: and everyone else in the Stripey gang:hello:

Pippi - have you all the napkin sewer volunteers you need? I have a stash of striped, flowery and plain fabrics (and some of it is even quite tasteful :rotfl:). I could run you up some if you need?

Hail Pippi and the Stripey Gang :hello:

I also had to google 'brides cog'. I came across the description for 'a blackening'. I sincerely hope that your friends let that 'tradition' pass you by.......

Pippi and EH you may be interested in the Food Programme on Radio 4 on Sunday (28th), it's going to be looking a folk dealing with extremely low budgets and how they afford to eat. It may be enlightening and we all get to learn something new, or it may be hogwash and have folk shouting at the radio :D
