Really sorry to hear that you are probably a filthy stinking git. lol. Its also a matter of self respect and self esteem.Obviously you've got neither. Jog on and run the bath, stinker.

LOL, perhaps you missed it as you came late to the party, I'm disabled, I neither jog nor use the bath

    Have a nice day now...

If I shower/bathe at night I can have a wash at the sink in the morning and feel clean as I sleep in a cool room and don't seem to sweat much overnight. Same as if I shower in the morning, a wash at the sink will suffice before bed. But I need a shower or bath at least once a day and I need to be clean to get into bed, otherwise I feel yucky! I probably could skip washing for a day without smelling, certainly in cold weather (as my tops always smell fine for a second day's wearing) but I'd feel dirty and not feel confident.

Yes and you were rude for no reason saying I should go to the the Doctors as I obviously have a BO problem!.Then you dont like the response.
Just because you're disabled doesnt mean that you can go around being rude and not expecting exactly the same response back. Just try insulting a member of the public like you did me out of the blue and see how far you get then!

You have a nice day as well.

This thread seems to have become exclusively focused on BO rather than on teenage bullying - is it just me or is that quite strange?

I can't seem to find it now but IIRC in the post I responded to you said everyone who didn't have a daily bath or shower stank. And that's simply not true for most people. I said that I was sorry you had a problem and suggested that you investigate it with your GP. Why? Because among other possible medical conditions a strong BO is one of the first symptoms that leads to a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. To which your response was extremely rude - to the point of being infantile. You told me to 'jog on and run the bath you stinky stinker', I paraphrase obviously but those were the words you used. You then decided to use the argument that having a daily shower was about self respect.

Dont try to wriggle out of it, you were mocking with laughing signs and the lot.It was not a general concern about someones possible health.FWIW I havent got strong BO or type 1 diabetes either but do think its important to have a bath or shower daily, as do the majority of people I know.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Are you sure? I have T1 and have never heard of BO being a symptom, just checked Diabetes UK and their site doesn't mention it either.

Untreated diabetes does cause a strong acetone smell on the person especially on their breath, you're probably thinking of that.

I dont shower every day. As I said in a previous post I shower at the gym and I swim a lot but occasionally if Im not going out I wont shower on the one day a week Im not exercising. I have a bath but I dont like baths. I have a combi boiler thats very efficient when it comes to heating up water for washing dishes but when it comes to filling a bath it can be a bit lukewarm and Id rather have a hot shower.

I dont think labelling people dirty or stinky is fair. Its actually better for your skin if you dont shower every day and its better for your hair (and I appreciate some people have greasy hair), if you dont wash it every single day. And given that I live alone and Im self employed if on one day of the week I dont shower, the only person Im being stinky around (and I dont think unless you are rolling around in muck you are going to get very smelly from one day not showering) is me.

Its not good for your skin to shower every day, I also have eczema and really sensitive skin and showering 6 days a week instead of 7 isnt really a big deal in my view.

And to be honest, I dont sit down with friends and ask them how much they wash, its their business.

    http://health.howstuffworks.com/skin-care/daily/tips/daily-shower-skin1.htm

I just bought the shower attachment for my bath taps for about 4 quid on ebay if anyone else is looking for them.

Also just to say, real BO, where no matter how clean someone is they stink is different from someone who just doesnt wash. I went to school with someone who had terrible BO and she was clean, it was obvious it was a medical problem, excessive sweating.

Sometimes people can be extremely clean and their personal hygiene is obviously good but they still sweat excessively. Someone I know has just had botox under their arms to stop them sweating excessively, not sure thats something Id like to do but each to their own.

It's not a symptom in most cases but yes, I have a friend who was diagnosed as a result of going in complaining about unusually strong BO, for her, and ended up with a type 1 diagnosis. The acetone smell is far more common but apparently, yes, it can be a deal more pungent - I'm guessing it could possibly the interaction of the diabetes smell and diet or other problems?
