I think less is more. Less on show that is. The most attractive people ooze self confidence. They dress and act in ways that are not provocative and they feel happy and confidant in their own skin. Leaving everything to the imagination and not blatantly displaying themselves. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

I'm astounded at what I see some females wearing and I'm not being a prude but do you really want men who you don't find attractive at all, drooling at your !!!!???
It wasn't so much a pair of shorts, it was more like a very teeny weeny hanky.
I remember walking through the city centre in the depths of winter at about midnight, watching these teenage girls totter down the road wearing what would more accurately be called a bikini and a belt, huddling together for warmth. I snuggled into my LARGE winter coat and cracked a smile.
Why would you wear so little, only to be uncomfortable, a) from being too cold and, b) from strange men groping you or making suggestive comments?0 -

I agree with you. By dressing like that they encourage the attention of men who will view them as cheap and easy. None of the comments made to them will be genuinely complimentary. Why would a woman want to put herself in that position, when with a bit of forethought, effort and style she could be viewed in a much nicer way? I think women who choose to walk around with barely anything on have very low self esteem and dont value themselves at all.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. But some men only like to be tantalised by their partner and not some stranger.0 -

Women do not need to be parading around in their underwear to be sexy. I would find it a depressing thought if they thought they did.
Although I've often been bemused that some guys go for the vulgar looking Jordan types in revealing clothes. It's something I'll never understand how people can think that is an attractive look.
It is nothing to do with power or even being sexy.
What I said is men are more visual than women, so enjoy looking at the female form. Men enjoy places such as a strip club as they are free to appreciate the female form. In general, Women will never understand how any man can think this way.
If men were looking for something 100% attractive, then of course they would be looking at the whole package, which they wouldn't find in a strip club or by leering at people in public - but they don't go to these places for sex or to find a partner - they go there for some visual enjoyment.0 -
If it were a choice between buying some overpriced drink and being an "idiot" or being some sort of sleazy little perv potentially making unwitting women feel uncomfortable, I'll take the overpriced booze.
How did you jump to that conclusion? Being out and about getting on with your day, noticing someone attractive and appreciating how they look, does not make someone a sleazy little perv. Someone can catch your eye and you can think they look nice without all kinds of fantasies and explicit images flashing through your mind too. The two things you mention above aren't really comparable. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. Because that isn't what VestanPance said.
He said "if a guy wants to look at attractive women...". That suggests an element of pre-planning, not simply walking down the street and seeing a pretty lady.
Men go to strip clubs, watch !!!!!!, watch 900 channels, watch webcam shows, buy "lads mags" and the rest of it because at the time they're doing that they want to see someone they find attractive.
And thus, to me, it is comparable. I pay little to no attention to women I pass in the street because they're not part of my day, they're not part of my purpose for whatever it is I am doing. In a similar vein, as I mentioned previously, I take all the strip club contracts at work because I know how to make the most money out of them for the company and more often than not the girls also seek out my advice and I do further business - but my reason for interacting with them has nothing do with their looks, so I pay no attention to that.
I suppose from the outside it could be considered slightly amusing to see me having a business meeting wearing a suit and the rest of it with a woman who is wearing a diamond encrusted performance bra and bikini combination. Perhaps that is also why I see a distinction between those who are performing and those who are not?
Now if you want to see attractive women, I think it's much less sleazier to seek out those who do not mind being admired for their looks than those who are simply, like me in the above example, trying to go about their day.
The difference in my mind between a fleeting glimpse of an attractive woman in passing and a want to see an attractive woman is that in the latter there is a desire. The former is purely coincidental and wholly unreliable anyway.
What isn't comparable is seeing an attractive woman in passing and a desire to do one of the various things one might do to see attractive women in a more sexualised or adult entertaining environment.0 -

That is a very sanitised way of putting it.
I had the unfortunate experience when I was younger of being in a pub not realising there were strippers about to appear.
I really could not describe what went on as "appreciating the female form".0
