It is true but I actually think that is sleazier than going to a strip club, or watching the 900 channels, or something similar. The women who you find in such establishments or on such channels are consenting to being part of your fantasy for the time; some poor girl going about her business on a train and being watched is not.

    Interesting thought Tropez.

I guess my main objection with strip clubs is that they are definitely not very MSE :money::money::money:

That's why we have the 900 channels. You let someone else spend their money calling the lady and then enjoy the show! :D

Why are peope talking about guys going to lapdancing clubs etc as if its the same as what the OP's husband did!!

The OP's husband has been a plank, and publicly embarassed her doing what he did in full view of all her family and friends, no idea why he thought it was a good idea to do it! Luckily the OP has not over reacted and looks like it has been sorted out

Trying to compare it to a boys night out at the lap dancing, where the OP's family will not witness her man eying up another girl hence no public humilation, is totally wide of the mark.

Personally i have no problem with the thought of my Mrs eying up other guys, or fancying other people, but if she made it a public display where myself and all my family & mates could see her doing it, that would be totally different.

Also suprised to see the MSE forum has so many experts in the working's of the lapdancing industry!!!who would have thought it!!

Well shock of horrors, but guys will see an attractive lady walk past and think 'very nice' or words to that effect. I'd say that's entirely normal.

Going to watch someone make a fool of themselves attempting to be "sexy" and being stupid enough to think they are actually interested in them while buying overly priced drinks in some tacky looking dump just marks you out as an idiot.

As I say if you want to see attractive women the world is full of them. You really don't have to seek out special premises for the purpose of that.

My opposition to strip clubs and lap dancing is more ideoligical anyway. Even if every woman doing it has made a free choice to do so, I'd much prefer that there was no market for this kind of thing because we'd decided to start viewing all women as actual human beings and nobody felt the need to spend time objectifying and dehumanising them.

I think it's perfectly possible to view a person as both a human being at the same time as being turned on by their performance.

Also, I think you're making a big and illogical generalisation by concentrating all your emphasis on women, and women being "objectified". What about male sex workers? What about women who enjoy watching and/or making !!!!!!? Are women being objectified when a man watches some gay !!!!!!?

But as I say, I actually think it's sleazier to spend a train journey eyeing up some girl you happen to think is hot. I would also think it would be very sleazy to sit on a park bench for the purposes of beauty spotting, which was also your suggestion.

I find it rather bizarre you assume that those who would visit a strip club are stupid enough to believe the girl is actually interested in them. Most are well aware they are not and those who might be generally have some sort of personality disorder.

If it were a choice between buying some overpriced drink and being an "idiot" or being some sort of sleazy little perv potentially making unwitting women feel uncomfortable, I'll take the overpriced booze.

Why is it so surprising? A lot of people work in the sex industry - it's not just "other people" you know. One thing that is true though, a lot of sex workers are unwilling to discuss their careers because of all the thin-lipped prudery that they're often faced with.

Your point made me think about a young girl I saw on my way to work this morning, she had a pair of shorts on, so short you actually saw the bottom half of her bum cheeks, disgusting but she was happily striding along, if I was staring, god knows what men were doing!!!

A lot of people work with people in the sex industry without working in the sex industry themselves too. Others just have very expansive social circles.
