My husbeast is a cretin

I've been up since 4am settling our baby back to sleep after a very disturbed night and the first thing I see on Facebook this morning?

If you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...

Yuk, sorry about that. I thought your subject title was a bit strong until I read it, but, yeah.

    Yes, definitely a cretin.

I don't know what else to say, except I'm furious on your behalf

What a nob. Have you spoken to him about it?

No, he'd just left for work when I saw it.

I have left a reply on there to the effect that if she wants him I'll happily FedEx him to her.

Probably without airholes in the box, mind...

She is probably a 20 stone trucker named Bob but I admire your humour in all this.

I am very sorry to hear this news OP.

What a horrible shock it must have been for you to have found this vile correspondence. Your husband has treated you with total contempt and betrayed you by his actions. That is a really cold and callous thing to do. On a forum like facebook to boot, so he has made all this public too. I dont blame you for feeling devestated by this and extremely let down.

I realise that you two have a young baby but if I were in your shoes I would be thinking that this was a man I could not be in a relationship with any more. He has really let you and your child down and shown little regards for your feelings. You dont do any of those things to a person you love, value, trust and respect.

You deserve to be treated far better.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Are we married to the same man? Is she from Brazil?

My DH (?) was getting very friendly with a lady he met on some on-line game. He added her on FB and they kept commenting on each others photos. I found it irritating to say the least and eventually asked for his password to look at his PMs. Lots of intimate chat (nothing sexual though) but what got me was when he said 'I will always be here for you'. Shame he couldn't say those words to me in the last 10 months whilst I have been nursing my 19 year old (his SD) through cancer!

He says I am over-reacting but I have asked him to move out. I need all my emotional energy for my DD.

Only you can decide what's right for you OP, but trust your instincts and good luck. x
Today is a new day and I'm gonna make it a good one. :)

    That ^

Hopefully he didn't use a mobile, with rounded edges. Let's hope it was a full-size PC, with sharp corners.
