I think you're displaying a good robust reaction to this, OP. You've not dissolved into a weeping heap, reached for the gin bottle or phoned your solicitor. Instead you've had a good rant about it and made sure your OH has been made aware of how upset you feel and he seems to have come through with an acceptably contrite response, no? Hopefully he'll make a bit of an extra effort to be loving and helpful over the next few days too. And learned a lesson from it.

I did love the Fed-Ex bit btw!

To be fair not all men would conduct themselves in this manner. A good few of them have standards, morals and values. Thankfully.

Marisco....... erm do you know where I could find one of them then? :D
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT

Seriously what an idiot, Facebook has a lot to answer for but in my experience (I caught my ex husband cheating through it) it just helps us find out about these things rather than them happening behind our back!

At the very least do you think your OH can be trusted on FB? Surely he should at least be deactivating his account until he can build up your trust again.

Its good that you can laugh and possibly forgive this incident but your OH needs to realise this is a bigger mistake than something that will be forgiven, otherwise what is the next step going to be?

Last time my husband was an idiot i used the Stupid Tax to buy a dress i really liked.
A Spa weekend at a posh hotel i reckon, he can stay home holding the baby for a weekend so he can truly appreciate all you do whilst he's snoring and sleazing x

We're all in this together. Etc. Austerity, austerity. I think the Stupid Tax needs to go up. For the, er, economy. :p

I think this is one tax rise we could all support! ;)

Not wanting to mitigate the OP's point in any way, but the word "cretin" isn't very nice and I'm surprised it's not censored on these boards (which censor far more mild terms like !!!!!).

For those who don't know, it's a term of abuse for people with congenital hypothyroidism. Used in the medical context, it's not necessarily insulting (like !!!!!!, for example) but I wish people wouldn't use it as an insult.

Ditto to catching mine out on facebook, except it was private messages I caught. I think deactivating the account is a good plan. Gives more time for husbeast to spend with baby.

I will say I should have had my doubts when he would never show himself as "married", but is quite happy to now show it as "separated". !!!!!!. (sorry, insults to dicks).

Well, you learn something new every day - thanks bitemebankers, that will be the last time I use that word as an insult.
If you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...

I have to admit to not knowing this term was linked to a medical condition. :o

I thought the word was *just* a term to describe someone who is stupid (or does stupid things) mostly because they simply don't think (not because they can't, or have a medical condition iyswim). I don't think I've explained that very well.

    Learn something new every day.

Putting aside the sleazing - the snoring is quite important when he's the only one working to put food on the table. Especially if he's in a job where he's required to be alert.
