OP one thing in life I have learned is never to presume anything. Don't give your non invite a second thought.0

My mil turns down wedding invites on our behalf without even asking us first!
Goes like this:
Mil to hubby: "Your cousin Gerald's getting married and you've got an invite - I told them you couldn't make it."
Apparently - there would be fighting, cos "they're all a bit rough". Reception held in a council estate pub - I mean, I'd have brought the popcorn, it would have been like a live episode of Shameless or Jezza Kyle - what a wedding that would have been! The opportunity to go, so cruelly snatched away
Weddings are usually so boring anyway - count yourself lucky op.MSE Forum's favourite nutter :T0
