    Morning all,

Bit of a personal question - those who are under 12 weeks (or those that have been under 12 weeks) - are you having sex with your partner?

I am feeling a bit strange about it. I am 8 weeks and feel I don't want to have sex until I have had my scan.I know you can't harm it by having sex, it is just my own personal feelings on the matter.

So, has your sex life tailed off a bit or is it just odd ball me? ;-/

Unfortunately our sex life has reduced to NIL  Entirely down to me - as in too darned sick! Seriously if I was to try I am CERTAIN I'd end up actually vomiting! Hoping that when the sickness stops/gets better we'll be back to getting it on in the bedroom ;) I certainly miss it! :)

Ickle Bean - our sex life has completely stopped! OHs choice, he feels 'weird' about it! It was fine before we found out, I've tried reassuring him, but he is worried!

Iklebeans, ours has slowed down somewhat... we managed the wedding night and once on honeymoon but think that's it really since we found out... It's mostly down to me, morning sickness gets worse in the evening and also my sister had a mc when I was a teenager and she started bleeding after s e x so it always hangs at the back of my mind a little... I think DH can't wait until things start to pick up a bit!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

early labour signs can be getting the runs, crampy like pains, feeling sick and having your show
to check if it's your waters going you should cough, if you leak when you cough it's your waters, if not it's just discharge which is common in late pregnancy.
believe me you will know if it's labour coz it bloody hurts!
    i'm waiting as well

Yeah, I'd kinda figured it was gonna hurt :p , but I thought it might start off light if you see what I mean. Does it really go from nothing to major pain? If it does, then Aarrrrgghh!!

I've had a few twinges and a lot of movement down below from I imagine her head is, had the runs a little bit and have felt a bit sick, but I don't think she's planning on coming out soon. Darn it. xx

    ICKLEBEANS -

I was so ill for the first 3 -4 months that I wasn't interested, but neither was DH!!! However, DH now feels funny about the bump being there so things are very slow in that department. I'm almost 25wks and can count on one hand how often we have done it since we found out 23 wks ago!!!

I can't imagine EVER wanting to have S E X again after giving birth though

We did "do it" a couple of times before 12 weeks, but not a lot due to me being tired and generally feeling icky. At first, bf felt a bit strange about doing it, but after reassuring him that he wasn't going to dent the baby's head, he was okay about it.

Gotten a lot better since then :p . He says he has no qualms over it, but can understand why some men do. Now he tries it on every night saying it will make me go into labour. :rotfl:
