Hi Skintchick, just wanted to say how very sorry I am about this pregnancy not working out for you. Please take as long as you need before trying again, I must second what one poster said with regards to grieving, and say that its important to put this experience to bed as best you can before ou move on to your next pregnancy. Your next pregnancy will be completely different, and I'm sure you've been told that what has happened this weekend has no bearing on what the outcome will be next time and its really important to remember that. I'm just settling into this pregnancy after 3 weeks of knowing im pg after having a m/c and beleiving that things will be okay, so it does make the next time round a little more nervous and scary, but saying that if the worst was to happen again then I feel so much more prepared. It truly is an awful thing, but its a normal and natural thing and you and your partner will get through it together and come out of the other side with a beautiful baby.
    xx
    Thinking of you

  • SkintChick - my thoughts are with you and your OH. I had a MC about a year ago at 10 weeks. It's tough. And do give yourself time to heal emotionally, you'll need it. Take care and try to spend time together having fun and enjoying being together.

*hugs* SkintChick. I've posted on your other thread - I agree, we were lacking something along those lines.

I've been checking in here as I always look out for updates on those who were due around the same time as me but sometimes I'm not sure it does me the best of good. Also read in the paper that Sian Williams (presenter of BBC Breakfast news, which I watch whilst getting ready for work) is pregnant and due in March (like I was) - what joy that will be! Sorry, just me being bitter..

It seems you and I are thinking along the same lines about trying again so I look forward to both of our futures and wish you all the best *more hugs* :)

Well ladies, I have my CVS today, I'm bricking it, had a massive row with babys dad last night so think I may be going on my own, I'm distraught :(
    :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j
  • AM - will be thinking of you today - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that baby's dad will come through for you and be there reagrdless of any rows. Tensions are bound to be running high and that is tough enough to deal with when you can kiss and make up afterwards.

    Take care
