Just a quick update for you all before I go back to TTC.

Yep, it's bad news :( There is "no sign of a pregnancy" in my uterus. I'm not surprised with the amount of blood I've passed over the last two days. I'm surprised there's anything left in my body! Although my BP is very low.

they are "pretty certain" it's a miscarriage but have taken blood to check in case it's ectopic. I really don;t think so as the pain was all central, but I guess it's good they check.

On the plus side (yes there is one!) my uterus and ovaries are normal, although my womb is tilted back, and there is no reason my next PG shouldn;t be fine.

hubby and I have talked and we are getting back on the wagon as soon as I stop bleeding (there is so much!) so maybe I'll be back here again soon.

Good luck everyone and hope all your babies are born healthy and happy.
I'm so sorry for your loss - I had a miscarriage in July and it really is a soul destroying thing to experience. I had a normal cycle then fell pregnant, but my ovulation date was out so I'm now half a week out in terms of my dates. This is apparently pretty normal after a miscarriage so be aware of that.

If you're TTC, can I recommend http://mon.thly.info as a tool to log your dates? It's excellent and after you've put in four months worth of stats it'll start to tell you when you are due to ovulate, when your period is due and what phase of your cycle you're at.

    Good luck with you xx

Are there any signs that I should be looking for that might indicate I'm going into labour? I'm sure it's not as quick as they show on the telly (just finished watching Father of the Bride II :o ). Keep thinking I'm damp "down there," but think I'm trying to convince myself my waters have broken and are trickling out.

EDIT: Also getting what I think are Brackston Hicks, but not sure if she's just really active. Can feel movement in my pelvis where her head is like she's swinging it from side to side, but it could be my bones moving about or something, I have no idea!!!

:o my labour was quick, so i can't really help here lol! I had been feeling achey like period/due on aches but didnt think much of it...even though my sister did say this was it! my waters broke quickly too- went to loo and suddenly felt damp and gush.....the water didnt stop throughout the labour-god knows where it all came from! i left puddles in the waiting room...the room they check you in... etc lol sorry if tmi :o

    Good luck! :D

I am sorry to hear that Skintchick - I know you want to try and get pregnant as soon as possible but please don't forget to allow yourself time to heal first - not so much physically as the body is an amazing thing and will sort itself out :) But mentally - take a little time to come to terms with what happened and just enjoy each others company before you try again? Do all that romantic stuff and take the phone off the hook once in a while and just do lovvy dovvy stuff. I'm a firm believer in that if you don't give yourself time to heal after ANY bereavement then it will come back one day when you least expect it... I've lost several friends in tragic circumstances and I tried to ignore the grief and it just made it all the worse when i finally managed to grieve...
Right now YOU come first and that does include healing mentally from loosing your ickle bean...
Go give your other half a huge hug and snuggle up together tonight on the sofa and have a good talk about everything - no doubt he's very upset too...
