Hi hun, love your new avvy:D DD's decided to get a flat, as she needs her own space:j :j :j :j :j apart from that, she's stopped being sick, and is feeling much better but is really spotty on her face and back:rolleyes: How are you?
Tell her to join the club! (Apart from still feeling sick...) And they are really painful spots too! Oh and I have some really sore ones on my bum cheeks so tell her it could be MUCH worse
We've got guests coming tonight and whilst they're really good friends and know that I'm not very well with pregnancy etc so wouldn't be in the least bothered about house in the state it is then it bothers ME so I'm trying to clean and tidy whilst hubby and one of our really nice neighbours are in the loft putting flooring boards down so we can stick some of the junk up there- I keep having to stop to recover from bouts of queasyness despite the cyclizine... bummer! Ah well - SLOWLY making progress...
The good news is the neigh has said he'll put me up some shelves up there too so I can stick books up there that we don't read often but I can't BEAR to get rid off...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Hi everyone, just checking in from my bed.
I stillhave the brownish discharge - had a few spots of red last night but there's so little of it that I'm thinking maybe it is breakthrough bleeding and nothing to worry about.
Feel a bit more positive today but of course am scared the baby has died.
Two more sleeps till the scan.
AM - sorry I missed your post. I know you're worried but people with Down's are not always very disabled and they are very loving people. Please try not ot be upset. And they can only tell you chances, not what will happen. (((hugs)))EDIt kjust realised you are having the CVS on Tues. Hi everyone.
just in case you didn't see this:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1193293
Our beautiful little girl was born on Thursday morning after a VERY quick labour. 1 hour 40 minutes. There's not even anything IN my notes about the first stage, I kind of skipped that! LOL.
She was 7lb 15oz.
Could only have gas and air cos I was too far on in the labour - in fact fully dilated and ready to push when I got to hospital.
I had a tear in the perineum, but all in all at the time it was a BIT of a shock but looking back a VERY good labour/birth and hubby was fantastic and didn't lose the plot or faint, he cut the cord and put up with me grabbing his arm VERY tight (they had gas there but no mask to start with so I swore a bit too! :rotfl:)
I will post more details - if you want them LOL. i am glad to be home and so far so good with the breastfeeding.
AM you must be so worried right now. My DS1 has a lot of problems health and developmentally but they could not have been detected before birth. I know that theres a 100% chance that i love him to bits.

I can't believe this is happeningI know it does, every day, to lots of women but I mostly cannot believe they couldn;t fit me in for a scan! I called at lunchtime. Stupid NHS. Now I have to spend all weekend worrying and lying down.
I had this kind of thing happen to me at around 6 weeks...though mine was a more brownish blood. When I mentioned it to the midwife she said that it was most probably the bean getting itself settled in. I had had some cramping as well but this was put down to the normal changes where everything is stretching to accommodate. I'm now almost 10 weeks and haven't had anything since...
I'm sure everything will be fine for you. Let us know how you get on with your scan...
Take care

Thanks Kathy
I think some of the cramps were actually my bowels!I had a lot of wind last night and a lot of the cramps stopped :rotfl: and today it is more uncomfortable down there, but not an actual pain IYGWIM?
It's definitely discharge with brown in it, but could be brown blood mixed with discharge I guess. I'm still v tired, a bit sick and boobs hurt so I'm hoping all is OK although I know you can;t really tell.
My mum is in hospital having an op on her kneww and won;t be out for frive days so I can;t tell her cos I want her to recover well and not be worrying. I told my dad and he isn;t going to tell her till we've had teh scan and know the result. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Hi skint chick. When I was pregnant with Ds i didn't even realised i was until i was 7 weeks because I thought I'd had my period but it was an implantation bleed-it sounded similar to what you are experience. When I did finally realise I was pregnant at 8 weeks a similar thing happened again and I rang NHS direct in a panic who told me to relax and put my feet up and not to panic but contact the hospital if it happened again. Luckily it didn't and i had a great problem free pregnancy and birth and DS will be three in February! I hope you are feeling a bit better now and the bleeding has stopped. Let your OH run round after you and treat you like a goddess for a weekend. In my first pregnancy I was so determined to do everything myself and not let OH help with the cleaning etc that when DS was born I wished i'd been a bit more lazy and made the most of it. now i'm pregnant with our second (due in January) I get no flaming rest at all because I was so brave (and stupid!) last time that DH thinks I'm superwoman!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

hi ladies, i'd love to join you if that's okay? I've been reading this thread with interest over the past couple of weeks and got my BFP on the 16th Sep making me 6+5 today. I've had a m/c previously so taking it day by day at the moment and checking for bleeds everytime i go to the loo. To all those who have given birth over the past week and also those who have as wonderful news at scans etc I must say a massive congratulations! Your stories are all very encouraging. To those who await scans and results and are worrying about things, I will say this...Please try not to worry (almost impossible I know), no-one on here can tell you what you truly need to know, but we can be positive for you and hope some of those vibes make it across and all will be okay.
p.s Hubby has instructed me to do nothing this weekend and I am shamefully taking full advantage, I wonder if he will go and get me a drink!!??

Skint, hope all goes well at scan!
I haven't mentioned on here until now that I had DBS a bit like you describe, around when AF was due. I rang EPUand they said they aren't worried but will scan at 6 wks.
For peace of mind I got 2 more tests did one straight away and then another 3ish days later the pos line was much darker on the 2nd test so that calmed me alot as I knew it would only get darker if things were still moving. my nausea is getting worse and yesterday I had very sensitive/painful nips so I'm feeling good about it but obviously won't know until scan on thursday.
My friend is 2 wks further on than me and had really bad pains and bleeding at 4 wks and had much more scans and blood test done but all is fine will her she had her 6wk scan and it was the right size and heart was beating.
I know its scarey but its amazing what can happen to you and it not affect the bubba so stay positive0
