Secondly itcould be an implantation bleed, I had one, I also had a bleeed the other day and the lady at the EPU said that if it was more browny that meant it's not fresh blood so not as worrying, just rest up and try to relax.
I know it's nerve wracking, I had my bleed on the sat and couldnt get scanned until the tues as it was a bank holiday
I'm sure you'll be fine, also he grumbling can be normal at this stage too, as everything is changing and settling.
I also forgot to say I am 7+4 but there is every chance I am not as far on as they think, as my periods are irregular and usually further apart than that date would imply ref ovulation.
I can't believe this is happeningI know it does, every day, to lots of women but I mostly cannot believe they couldn;t fit me in for a scan! I called at lunchtime. Stupid NHS. Now I have to spend all weekend worrying and lying down.

Skintchick, dont panic, its not good for you or baby.
Each circmstance is different so can only say what is happening to me. I started bleeding exactly as you described the day after positive test. it continued for three weeks, v. v. stressful time. I had two scans and both were fine and bub growing well. I am still only 10 weeks so still in danger zone, but still get one spot a day. Midwive has tested for toxoplasmosis & chicken pox as might be reason? and waitig for results now.
But if really worried esp if gets heavier go to hospital. My thoughts are with you0 -
skintchick, please take my advice (from someone who has been where you are) and do not Google it! It will scare the hell out of you - it did me! - and you will do yourself no good at all.
Unfortunately, it did not turn out well for me (I'm very sorry to say) but that is no indication at all on what may happen for you. From my Googl'ing, I found there are soooo many things that can happen which seem bad but end up being totally unexplainable and nothing to worry about and everything else turns out fine.
Please just rest up over the weekend - I don't know if it makes any difference but I want told to not even lift a kettle! - and try not to worry. I know it's hard but worrying won't change anything so there's no point until you know what's what on Monday.
Take care xx0 -
Skintchick :grouphug:
I can only say that this has happened to me twice - the first resulted in a m/c and the second turned out to be Poppy. Try and put your feet up and not get too stressed (I know its easier said than done).
Please keep checking in and letting us know how you are.

Thought I'd give you an update, went for my scan today, baby is alive and kicking, I'm actually 11+3 not 10+2 so they done the nuchal translucency.
I'm now in turmoil as my chances are 1 in 51 of my baby having downs, I should be about 1 in 960
I've been sobbing most of the day, even Babys Dad had a cry, I'm booked in for the CVS on Tuesday, so we have to travel up to London Kings college hospital for that.....
Sorry, I'm just catching up...
How are you feeling today, AM? Must be such a shock but please try and stay positive. All of us will be thinking of you on Tues :A.
