Congratulations Fritha and welcome to baby Celia :D

I really enjoyed reading your birth story - esp as I know how scared you were and you made me realise that things probably won't be as bad as I think they will be.

Now - as MFD said, please show us a picture :D

    Congratulations Fritha! :)

I have to say that after 2 nights on the maternity ward I heard no screaming or complaining about the pain hehe and now resembling a pin cushion I figure it can't be much worse to get the Epidural so I'm more worried about anything going wrong and having to have a sunroof!!! I'm going to specify that sunroofs are ONLY going to be allowed in an absolute emergency! I don't know why but I really don't want a c-section!

I'd go along to the docs to get checked - I had implantation pains but nothing after that. I think speaking to the docs at this stage might help you put your mind at ease... we all know that not all pergnancies make it sadly :( and not that I think yours won't! I just think it's better to be safe than sorry...
Congratulations on the BFP - best advice? Start at the top of this thread and work your way down :)

Congrats Fritha and welcome to the world Celia. I know what you mean about stitches taking ages, I also found them more painful than the actual birth!

MrsTine I agree about the sunroof, just over 7 weeks til I'm due and the thought of one terrifies me, especially seeing as I've already got a 3yr old to look after/get to nursery etc. Don't want to be laid up for weeks on end! They thought I may need one with DD as she was getting distressed - upon hearing this I pushed for England (the ventouse helped her out too!).

  • Hiya All

Not been around much recently as things have been a bit hectic for me the last cpl of months. So congratulations to all the new babies in the world & also to all the newly preggers people..

On July 30th we found out that my Dad had terminal cancer & was told he only had a few months to live.. we thought he would be here at least 6 months.. he died 5 weeks later on September 5th.

So you can probably imagine its been really hard to keep calm & not be upset but it was impossible & the amount of stress i've gone through i'm surprised still to be pregnant to be honest.

But anyway I have only have 12 days left to my due date.. I'm really big & uncomfortable & cannot wait for my little baba to be here..

    Hope everyone else is ok

    Mel x

btw - Fritha what a cracking birth story.. Congratulations to you & your OH. Welcome Celia! xx
 Mummy to Charlie & 2 beautiful twins due on Valentine's Day
