Not been around much recently as things have been a bit hectic for me the last cpl of months. So congratulations to all the new babies in the world & also to all the newly preggers people..
On July 30th we found out that my Dad had terminal cancer & was told he only had a few months to live.. we thought he would be here at least 6 months.. he died 5 weeks later on September 5th.
So you can probably imagine its been really hard to keep calm & not be upset but it was impossible & the amount of stress i've gone through i'm surprised still to be pregnant to be honest.
But anyway I have only have 12 days left to my due date.. I'm really big & uncomfortable & cannot wait for my little baba to be here..
Hope everyone else is ok

btw - Fritha what a cracking birth story.. Congratulations to you & your OH. Welcome Celia! xx

Wow only 12 days! bet your so excited!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Hi all, hope everyone is ok, I had a small bleed today but it's stopped now, the EPU told me to come in for a scan tomorrow just to check me out but she said that as it didn't seem fresh blood they tend not to worry too much.
It's stopped now and I was thinking that it's 5 weeks since it happened last time, and 5/6 weeks was the length between my periods before so maybe it's something to do with that.
I'm feeling positive, much more than last time.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Barginaholic - I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad, my thoughts and wishes are with you and your family. 12 days to your due date....hope that all goes well for you.
Fritha - YAY!!!! So good to hear from you. Welcome baby Celia. What an amazing story you have written. As I read it, I wanted to be scared by what you were saying, but I wasn't and I think that's got do with the way you wrote it.
Candygirl - let us know how your DD's friend gets on. Funny thing is my hubby said to me yesterday when before I was seeing the MW for bub's heart beat (because we have had a scan and there is only one baby), if you hear two heartbeats we are have a Doctor (can't you tell he's Doctor Who fan)0 -

Hi AM,
I think I have heard about people having slight bleeds around their 'usual' period times. I am sure all will be well at the scan tomorrow, but it will be great for you to have some reassurance.
Let us know how you get on wont you.0 -

So sorry for your loss, Bargainaholic xxx
AM, will be thinking of you tomorrow. So stressful this pregnancy lark, isn't it?! xxx0 -

the thing i am learning is to trust my body. i am having my first baby so all of this is new to me, but i am trusting that my body will do what is necessary to look after bubs. i mean like if i bend a certain way, my body stops me being in a position that isn't good for me or bubs.
you know your body and know what's right for you which might be a reason you are feeling more positive0
