I honestly wonder about the knowledge of some folk posting on here, have they been to a city comprehensive lately or spent time on a school bus, kids can be nasty and do fight.

I'm satisfied that Pigpen is enough of a deterrent for her son to not repeat his unacceptable behaviour, all this talk of getting the Police involved is just not needed, seriously, I can't imagine what they would have thought every time my mother called them to say, oh that's Pauline punched June, oh, wait a minute, that's June punched Pauline, she'd end up getting done for wasting Police time!

So lets get this straight, (without the excuses please), your Son punched your young disabled Daughter as hard as he could in the stomach, and broke the nose of a girl at school?

You need serious professional help NOW.

I can see this thread going on and on.. but anyway, from what I can gather the former was unprovoked and OP is dealing with it, and the latter was self-defense.

If what Pigpen says about why he done it, then I dont think he should be hounded for that one, I dont car if its girls, he was defending himself.

I remember in School boys fighting and I mean fighting, they would hold one up and actually kick each other in the head repeatedly, this was a catholic school and it would have been about primary 5 or 6. This was 30 years ago.

Na, I am sorry, but thats not right. Theres fighting with bro's and sis's, but thats a step too far a man punch to the stomach. I know you think thats normal, but I was brought up to know that was out of order. I am by no means a goody goody, always up to mischeif but not anything like that, sorry.

I have four brothers and I don't remember them fighting once yet myself and my sister were always at each other.

I definitely don't think it's right but I can assure you we were, and are, both normal.

There is a difference between boys hitting other boys the same age, and a 14 year old boy/young man hitting a 10 year old girl full force in the stomach
