    Hi Everyone :D

Hope you are all well, haven't posted for a while because I have just been soooo busy and felt a little overwhelmed for a while.

No news on the DMP in teecee world. Everything seems to be going quite smoothly and even had a small payment from the Child Tax Credit people on Friday, just done my yearly review and this week I received two payments one is my normal weekly tax credit and the other was a very strange amount. So I rang them and they said it was arrears:j :j only £22 but a nice surprise!!

Hope you are all feeling ok and not too stressed.

Have a good day everyone, take care xx

    Hi all,

Been away this weekend - just tried to catch up, but I fear I've missed so much!

Been getting daily calls from HSBC now, but haven't been answering there calls. Still have no ink so can't print the letter - must do that from work and I might ring CCCS abot it as it's stressing me out now.

Not much to report. All is okish - fear OH is spending too much and still not 'getting' that even if the money is on DIY, it still coes from somewhere!
    HUgs to all.

    Hi Everyone

Hope everyone is well. Like Teecee I haven't been on here much lately as I have been very busy doing overtime and selling stuff on Ebay. Ebay is great but I do hate having to trek to the post office 2-3 times a week.

Teecee Good news about tax credits. I know it's only £22 but at least you didn't have to pay them any money back :T

eripmav Well done on deciding the BR route could be an option. You have to think what's best for you and your family. You are sounding much more positive. It's natural to feel anxious and like Valley's girl says go to CAB and I'm sure they will be able to help you and answer the many questions I'm sure are going round and round in your mind.

Valley's Girl You say you think your friend has told people about your debt. The problem I find is that even though I haven't told anybody about my debt I'm always convinced that people know. In my case I am so ashamed about it all I am paranoid. It could be the same for you or as you say he could have told people. Hope I haven't offended you by saying this :)

dlb Glad to hear calls from Cahoot have stopped.

Now going to pop to Morrisons for weekly shop. Have done a meal planner for the week so hopefully shouldn't overspend.

    Take care. xx

    Hi Sea

Didn't mean to miss you out. I took so long typing it all in that you had sneaked in and posted. Hope you had a nice weekend.

Sorry to hear your OH has still not to grips with the money issue. I'm sure you feel like you are :wall:

    Thanks dreamer :)

I agree about the trekking to the PO with Ebay stuff - I'd struggle in with the pushchair laden down with parcels!

    hi all,
eripmav....have a look on the b/r thread on this site.its full of peeps experiences and tells you loads of info on the things you will find useful.cab is good but getting an app with them is really hard as they are always busy.cccs, payplan and nat.debtline are free fone nos and they really know their stuff and find the written stuff they post to you is step by step stuff and cos its down in bl+white, you can keep referring to it.

amani......personally i wouldnt set up a dd or a so cos to me, the bank thinks they are the same and still pays the bl**dy money and then takes you ages to reclaim...and tbh, cant do the hassle.at least with the giro slips, i always had the proof.
(wonder why im so not trusting of banks!!!)

valleys girl.....nowt to stop you from doing your own dmp.i did for years but now im old and forgetful, its nice to send 1 payment to cccs and they do all the work.

think its easy to forget that whichever dmp you do(own or cccs, payplan)your creditors can take you to court (or god forbid, force you to go b/r)at any time, dependig on how much dosh and time is involved.even on these ivas which go on for 5 years, if you miss a single month, they can take you to court and in year 4 you could still have to give them your equity, depending on the amount.we think that the cccs and payplan have alot of sway but in the end, its up to the creditors.the main thing is we have all decided to sort our debts so shouldnt get too upset by the stupid limits that cccs/payplan tell us.(was reminded of that when i read eripmavs post re buying gifts for his child)think we are all doing great with the option we have decided is right for us.
i forget sometimes that my dmp shouldnt be the main thing in my life and that while im worrying about it, my family life and DS growing up have gone and ive missed it.
i know i write some cr*p at times but i hope you all get the jist of what im trying to say:confused:
please bear with me,ill be asking questions later:rotfl:

getting to be a real ray of sunshine these days, arnt i?:rotfl:

anyway, here ends todays lesson(if you all havent fallen asleep by now:rotfl:
    take care all.
    regards, xx
