Good morning all.
Hope you are all well and dandy today. At work again today so thought i would just pop in and say hi and get us near the top of the board for the late risers :rotfl: :rotfl:
twitcher11. Nice to know you did not have a drink last night. I have been down that road and i do have a tipple too many some days. Do not rely on drink as this will create more problems and it also costs money. Apologies if i make it sound that you may have a problem but just keep an eye on it. Been there and got the Tshirt.(Hope you do not take offence )
Hope you all have a good day. Nothing to report from Monkey mansion till i get home and check the post.
Au Revoir

Glad to be of help twitcher11. This has some very caring people posting on here who will help and advise you. They even give you hugs although I've not had hardly any. I live in hope though.
Payplan you have been told about and they seem very helpful and knowledgeable. Starting to sort things out has improved my spirits no end and this thread helps a lot too. Just sharing and realising others are in the same boat does wonders for your mental state and feelings I can tell you. Hope you slept better and you will soon be sleeping even better if you start getting some help on this which you will. Take one day at a time as well which will help.0 -

Morning all. Hi twitcher hope you got some sleep.
I found some relief right from when I decided to go ahead with a DMP with CCCS. They were so helpful and just knowing someone else was there to help me sort out my mess (and that it could be sorted out) meant loads to me. That and everyone's help here, as I wouldn't have had the courage to contact CCCS without the people on this thread.
Now that I've made my second payment on the DMP one creditor has stopped interest temporarily, one has immediately halved interest and even though I haven't heard back from the others it's such a huge relief that at least someone is now listening and my debt may actually start to go downworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Good Morning all
Thankyou everyone again for your kind words.
No offence taken Yellowmonkey because your comments hit the bullseye I am afraid.
I don't drink in the day its just in the evening/nighttime to get me to sleep but all it does is knock me out for a few hours.
Its stupid I know.
Had a VERY sleepless night last night - still awake at 3.30am.but I had alarm on for a doctors appt.
I have high blood pressure and last year got diagnosed with Type2 diabetes so got to stop that cheap white cider stuff.
Oh dear I am rambling.
What is true is that I did NOT drink any alcohol at all yesterday 5th June.
I also worked on my SOA so thats a start and I rang CCCS to get some information.
I know Sea78 posted a new thread for me so I will post there from now on as thats where I will put my SOA later today.
I got a bit lost on the site yesterday and my first post was a surprise even to me !
Thanks everyone I DO feel my spirits lifted this morning.
I will try to cut and paste this post into the new thread.
love to you all x0 -

I'm in the process of setting up a DMP with Payplan so I thought I'd post in here just for a bit of support. It's been pretty stressful tryingto sort things out but hopefully I'm on my way. Still waiting for Payplan to send me their info pack and in the meantime have sent my creditors a letter explaining the situation and including a token payment until Payplan contact them.
Yesterday I got a phone call from one of my creditors at my work and one from another creditor at home last night. I was a bit p***ed off with this as I expected to have my Payplan info by this time with a bit of guidance on how to handle these situations.
I'm still stressing but hopefully things will sort themselves out soon,
thanks for listening !0 -
Glad you're making your next steps twitcher.
CCCS have been great for me. Took such a huge weight off my shoulders.
There is so much information on this website that it is easy to get a little lostYou soon get used to it all though.

Hi thefool. Well done on taking steps to sort it out.
I think someone has a letter template you can use to try and get them to stop calling you at work and try and get them to correspond in writing instead. Sure someone will come along to help shortlyworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
hi all
Hello to any newbies.
I have set up dmp now with cccs and first payment made this month. I can not believe how quick as only contacted them mid may so new to this myself.
In the first week of missing any creditor payments we were bombarded with calls especially from lloyds tsb. I too received a call at work, so what you need to to do in answer to above post, let them know you are in process of dealing with payplan and if you have a ref number give this, just advise they will be hearing shortly from them. I also asked for no further calls to work as well as i was really annoyed when i got a call at work. Payplan should send you details and then you need to let all creditors know about dmp. I sent token payments to them this can be any amount i sent £5.00 to each, although it can be less/more. I sent cheques then you know when they have cashed them.
Its still early days for me too and i was very stressed when i started getting calls, but the encouragemnt on these boards is great just come on and have a rant and someone will help or give advice.
take care all
bye for now.0
