Thats what payplan did for me, some of the things like paying back my mum, my creditors might not agree with so I put the money down somewhere else.0 -

Original DMP was for £49 a month which is all I can spare, and will take 6 years 5 months. I now have part time job which brings in an extra £200 per month. Would I be better throwing this at some of the high interest stuff and snowballing, or put it into DMP because at least the interest will stop. Not sure what to do. Ringing CCCS this afternoon when in work but thought I'd ask on here.
I know when I started my DMP they said to be accepted I had to have at least £100 available per month. Are you already on a DMP or still taking advice?0 -
Hi Spendthrift
Most things stayed the same and she just updated things.
print a budget sheet out before you have your review and work it out yourself if you can. I think they have set amounts for most things0 -

So, do they just go over the budget we already have with them? And then ask what we HAVE been spending etc? Because obviously that will show that we have more money than they think? Should I just say I'm earning a little bit more and spending more? I don't want my payments to go down, just not UP right now.
Thanks again for your replies!

just say nothing has changed, unles it gets included in the budget don't mention it.
Or tell them your new income but add more onto your outgoings somewhere.0 -
Thanks to you all for your helpful replies.

DMP - £49 is what I have left for debt payments after all the allowances they put in. Even though they allow for things that I don't need, like dental. I'm petrified of dentists!
Have got the DMP agreement, for that amount, just haven't signed and sent it yet, that's why I was wondering what to do as officially not on it yet. Should have started it 1st Feb but only just got part time job this weekend.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

First review is after you have been on the plan 6 months. After that they are yearly, unless you request them due to change in circumstances.
After my review my amounts stayed the same. One has now defaulted me as they wanted more money. But nothing else has changed and no-one else has asked for anything moreworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
afternoon everyone! - just a quick question.....
Has anyone else taken out the PPI with payplan? £5 life cover and £24ish for payment cover?
Is it worth it? -
Also i am comeing up to my 6 months with Payplan didnt realise creditors can start to moan again0 -
Hi
Just thought I would pop in and say Hello :hello:
Nothing much has changed regarding the Dmp so a bit of Status Quo at the moment which is better than the hassle I was getting pre Dmp. Those of you just starting out it may seem daunting but it does get easier and with the support of this wonderful thread they will get your life back. They did it for me
Hope you are all doing well old and new
