    Hello everyone

    I havent been on here for a while but nearly 6 months into my DMP now and loving it!! am am sooo greatful for you lot inspiring me to do it!

    Was on Martins tV show last wednesday - my luck the show was all about debt!!

    Just opened an ISA account to put in any left over monies into it and I then hope to give a nice large sum to Payplan! Has anyone else done this - I am actually really enjoying saving and bugeting my money - I have a saving account with £600 for emerganices ie my old mini blowing up, and an ISA to save eventually a nice lump sum to pay of a chunk to payplan.

    just wondered what others have done to try and get the term of the DMP shorter!

    Hope your all ok xx

    Lowell (I think) are an 01 number, but they never leave messages.

    GE are an 0860 number, they never leave messages, and if you try to ring them back you get a recorded message something like this;

    'A representative from GE money has tried to contact you. We will continue to try and contact you by telephone or post'.

    Bit harsh really!!

    well I just get private number so don't know who it is.

    My phone will not let private numbers ring so sorry cannot help. But it definately is a handy tool to request on your phoneline - along with changing your number which stops any phone calls dead!

    My thoughts exactly!! Especially with GE Money - if it was important they'd LET me ring them back!!
    On the upside, I appear to have had no missed calls from Lowell, RBS, or GE Money today. Or is this the calm before the storm???

    Limana, if you're out there, my first DMP payment is due on 1st Feb, not March. I emailed them to clarify, and said I was worried that my first payment wouldn't reach them in time (payday being 31st). They said no problem as long as it was with them by 10th. But they also said if I pay on 31st using the Transcash slip at the Post Office that the payment should reach them on the 1st anyway. Phew!

    With CCCS you pay CCCS 1st of the month but the creditors don't actually get the money from CCCS until 25th of that month ;)

    Sorry, meant my payment to CCCS would reach them by the first. CCCS then pay the creditors on the 25th of the month. I read somewhere in the small print that although CCCS don't charge a fee, they do take the interest from your payments - fair enough! They do enough work to try and help, they're welcome to it!
