Dmp Mutal Support Thread (Part Two)

Hi there YM
I have started my dmp with cccs and first payment comes out on 1st march. I have sent the letters out to creditors but keep getting tel calls. Just keep giving them my cccs ref no and hopefully they will get the mesg!! Just gotta send aoff all my credit card/loan staements now.
However I feel much more positive about the future and know there is an end in sight debtwise :T even if it is 6 yrs!!

Hi

Do what I did. I got caller display and did not answer if I did not know the number. I also sent letters to all creditors asking for correspondence to be in writing.

as regards cccs i had my first review after 3 months then another at 6 months:p

but did get some good news a few weeks ago one of my creditors turned me over to a dmc and they balance they gave me was over a £1000 less then i had down as owing them:T

gangs all here, nearly.we are all plodding on.
solutions c/c has passed me to capquest, who have agreed same as prev. still a couple of creditors who cant grasp the difference between a CALENDER MONTH and 4 WEEKLY!!but i have helped them with this.....by not giving in to their demands.....and they are getting the drift.
only hiccup was that cccs paid them all early in dec cos of crimbo and they are all complaining he jan payments late, when really, its just returned to its original.
still got the cough since boxing day.....and charlie danes got a heart murmur, which cant be serious, cos hes never been as fit since the vet told him, confused????.....yes i was ,as well.

Hi guys. YM, ray and ILGD and all,

All going ok for me, other than Great Universal losing about 6 months worth of DMP payments and no-one talking to me - apparently to save me stress!!! :rolleyes: Everytime I ring they say I need another department. CCCS say they have definitely paid them but it went to General Credit Co - they gave me their number and a recorded message as soon as you ring say the debt has been sold to someone else :rolleyes:

Thinking of doing a CCA request just to annoy them all and find out who on earth is dealing with my money :mad: Stupid thing is it's the smallest amount and I did debate paying it off before I started the DMP but I didn't have the £70 :rolleyes:

Hopefully about 4½ years left to go in total on the DMP and then I will have lots of money to save up for holidays

that is the same as me with First National other than no-one is talking to me & telling me who is dealing with my account.
