Well I've just emailed Great Universal asking for an address to write to. Their web site form said my account number was wrong, and the old one was wrong too so sent it off saying I want an address to write to for details....

They have replied saying they can't answer it without an account number!!! So I can't get a complaint address without an account number? Yeah???

Stroppy phone call will be heading their way as soon as I get home from work :p
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

or possibly email to get an address from greatuniversal.com.
it does say goods/services provided by littewoods shop direct homeshopping ltd. and if i remember all the a/c nos changed recently so are they checking your payments to your new a/c or yuor old a/c.
thats what happened with my m/w a/c.wouldnt surprise me if your dmp payments should have been sent to shop direct not gen cred.
if you have 2 diff a/c nos, id quote both.or as its a freephone no(dont ring the cust services, ring the free order line and ask to be put throu to cust services, 08000922622) and they have to give you the chairmans name and correct address by law.make a note of everyones name and the time and date of the call.theres no passing the buck then.
    hope this essay helps.

  • Hi All,

Just thought I would pop in to say hi. I am still delighted after my MBNA victory, just waiting for the actual statement to drop through the door now so I can just see the REAL balance. Also waiting for Creation to come back to me. Have had a couple of awful telephone calls from them, but I was very assertive and said that I had written TWICE now and until someone decides to respond to my letter I would not communicate by telephone. I was told by one horrid man, tough we will still ring, but to date it hasnt gone again.

Pay day for me tomorrow and boy it cant come quick enough. But then again, with a new man in tow (been single parent for 10 years and i am only 34!!!) I dont need money now. ha ha All is good in the world of JOJ.

    Keep going everyone.....

    Take care JOJ x

  • Had a letter today from GE Money saying they aren't accepting my DMP offer because there have been recent purchases on the card. Haven't bought anything with that card since well before Christmas, and I destroyed it when I received my DMP agreement from CCCS. What exactly do you think they mean by 'recent'?? Anyway, I've scanned it an emailed a copy to CCCS to see what they say.

Fingers crossed for a 'happy' resolution!!

  • I wrote to them last year as a formal complaint and also requested default charges back. I received a first payment of £544 in November and I wrote back a couple of weeks ago. Today, i have just opened a letter which apologises for poor customer service along with a further goodwill gesture of £3,100. This almost clears my balance with them and it looks like I will be on track to clear my DMP my March. Heres hoping!

Wow JOJ, it must have been some letter. LOL.
MBNA are doing my head in, trying to get any response from them is like hitting your head against a brick wall. If you have any tips .....please share:D

Got to say, very well done and I hope that statement reads just how you want it to.
  • Hi all,

Not been on for a while - trying to put debt to the back of my mind for a while!

Hi to everyone new, good luck with all your DMP's. Mine is going ok - still a couple of creditors to stop interest and two to actually agree but I am getting there.....slowly!!

Anyone had experience of getting Halifax and Sainsbury's CC to stop their interest?? Any tips most welcome!!

Hope you are all having lovely evening xx
