We are off to Oakdene. We normally stay in the middlish of the New Forest but this place is a bit up from Bournmouth and near to Ringwood. We plan on taking the DD's bikes and as long as it does not rain we should have fun. Nice to get away really.

Fortunately for us it was not November, no Queen tribute band but the caravan was lovely and as for the rest well it was our honeymoon we made our own entertainment!

    Afternoon DMPers

Hope everthing is ok after the forced holiday we had.

Not much to report. Ebay Lego went for £40. Unbelievable really when we only paid £5 for the lot. Sold the rest at a boot fair for £25 so for £5 we got £65 back :j

Managed not to dip into my OD just. Pay day today and i had 13p in my account. Thought i would get my beer for the month today so popped over to Calais for half an hour. 6 cases for £20. Big saving. Nice living near to France when i can just pop over and it only costs me £2 return. Love being pulled over by customs as they find it hard to believe i only pop over for a short time. Nothing to declare i am afraid.

Hope you are all well and catch up later

Just finished my SOA for my creditors and I think I may be jiggered. It would appear that we only have £300 a month to pay debts that are currently £1700. So in real terms, hand on heart, head out of the sand, what chance have I got of my creditors accepting payments that will be less than 25% of the original repayments.

Sorry haven't posted on here before but you lot look like you've room for all whaifs and strays.

Hi chipbeck. Some have had DMP's agreed where they only pay £5 to each debt as that is all they can afford.

How much do you owe in total (not per month)? If they stop interest how many months would it take you to pay off - that's the way I try and look at it. Even if I got another loan it would have to have been a 7 year one to even be vaguely manageable. Didn't have the credit rating for it in any case :p

Some of mine accepted payments of about a third of previously minimums.

  • Well folks, they say you do not realise what you have got until someone takes it away. You know what they are very true!

I did not realise how much the people on this forum help me until the site was down this weekend. I know it's only cyber support, but it really means a lot to me.

I was a bit down today, but yellowmonkey words picked me back up. The post aboue Queen tribute was funny.

How do I start collecting for the Sun offers?
  • Into my DMP now for the thord month. Things still rocky but most creditors apart from MBNA have accepted. Halifax and Bank of Scotland are still charging and adding interest and my balances have actually gone up in the last three months. Payplan say that this is becuase my offer was below 1% and that the accounts will be passed the Blaire, Oliver and Scott. Is this really bad news? What will they do? anyone had any experiences with them?

    Hi

The Sun run these £9.50 holidays every year. You have to collect the tokens and fill out the booking form with your top 1000 preferences :rotfl: . Only 4 but ,as I discovered on another thread, you have to be doing these holidays for 300 years and have a special code to guzump us first timers then you may get your first choice.

Seriously though if you do not mind when you want to go then these are ideal. I may joke about it but I am looking forward to going on Friday.
