Hi A85,
I have MBNA as a creditor so in same position as you waiting to hear from them. However if you go back over last few pages on this thread there are a lot of post re MBNA. Hope this helps!0 -
Nice to see a Portsmouth local on the site! Working in London today and not so glad to hear it is un-sunny!
Sounds like you are doing well on your DMP so far and things have not gone too badly. I am just waiting to get it all sorted next week with payplan!
I too am worried about the mortgage thing but not to changing but actually getting one (long way off mind you) but like you will probably cross that bridge when it comes to it. Far too much else going on right now. Must say though I am never ever ever touching credit again - apart from a mortgage!
Hope you're having a good day!
Arrrrr same here nice to see portsmouth locals on here too !!! :T

ROFL YM! You need while you are off to work to build us a confessional booth!
There are worse things we could do we could be having pay day loans at 75% apr and things0 -
HI yall!
MBNA - Well where does anyone start....
I received a letter from them today to acknowledge my letter and complaint to them dated 12th. Their letter was dated 19th and only arrived today. They have given me a date of 11th November to send a reply out after investigating..... watch this space. It will be interesting to see whether the one department deals with the complaint and the charges....
I have also today got my free credit report - very interesting! I was quite scared before I looked and it doesnt show as bad as I thought, but it does show that one of my loans with Lloyds that I have had no problems through Payplan at all show the account in definite default for months and on the score they were the worst!!! They have always been great and have accepted each offer to them. LAst year though they wanted me to go it alone with them and have a fixed payment (which was £1,000 more than what was owed!). Obviously I declined this and it seems then they put the account in default. Naughty! Interestingly though MBNA and one two other creditors werent even on there...... anyone know why this is?LBM: March, 2005

It depends who your credit report was off, there are three companies and creditors lodge with at least one of those but not necessarily all. There is one company that will check all three for you but the name of it has escaped me - which does not suprise me at all - sawdust keeps my brain in place!
I want to hear some wood banging ther YM!0 -
