Hi have written my letter and am posting it off tomorrow. Do I sent one payment to hsbc or 3 (as I have cc, loan and od with them), am a bit confused0
-
Hi
toasti.
I had 3 different accounts ( loan,CC and OD ) with First Direct and I sent a token payment to each of the accounts. So 3 token payments to the one creditor is probably the best thing to do.
All the best

I also sent token payments of £5 to each of my creditors.
Hope that helps.

Hi
Yeah that helps...will send £5 to od, another 5 to cc and anothe 5 to the loan...just got to find out now who to write the cheques out to!!!!!0 -
Hi.
If you have the account numbers write these on the back of the cheques. What i did was sent 3 letters (Same template just different account numbers) to First Direct. ie Ref OD/CC/Loan please find enclosed token payment. Seemed to work as these companys seem to have endless departments.

Hi Everyone:D
Welcome HereGoes! and toasti, glad to have you aboard our little thread.
Hope everyone is well, and not too stressed today. Nothing happening in teecee world at the moment but am very happy as I have just (about half an hour ago ) completed the last piece of work for my NVQ. :T
Got my first application form to complete in the post this morning.
Haven't filled one in since I was 19 (a long time ago!!!) so wish me luck!:D
Apart from that no news, or phone calls. Just been on the CCCS website and put in some figures to try and get my DFD down a bit. Not really sure whether to contact CCCS and up my payments a little now, or wait until I have hopefully got a job in my new career and reassess the situation then.

Well just for a change I have had a really good week - had a letter from barclays ppi - they have just credited my account with £822 which has almost halved the debt - won £35 on bingo, finally reached the £50 with you gov have a few bids on my ebay items and beneficial have at last stopped interest and charges - so only MBNA to go now
(I keep wondering what is going to go wrong now)

Just wanted to say I'm so sorry that you are having such a bad time at the moment!
Sorry I can't offer any help about Lloyds, those barstewards are not one of my creditors.
The only thing i can suggest is to write to them again include you I and E and state again that you are not in a position to pay any more than you have been. Again stress that you only want to be contacted in writing, if they keep calling you will class it as harrassment and contact the Financial Ombudsman to investigate their constant disregard of your request.
I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum that once you have written and requested them to only contact you in writing they are obliged to do so. Maybe think about getting your phone number changed. Call your provider and tell them you are receiving unwanted/malicious phonecalls and they may change it for free!
I know you will still have the debts hanging over you but things are so much easier to deal with in writing rather than calls at all times of the day and night.
I get the feeling they are just using scare tactics to try and squeeze as much money as they can from you.
Don't let them win!!! Hang in there I'm sure it will get better it may just take a bit of time before the thick tw@ts get the message. (sorry about my language) but i get so mad that these people feel its ok to bully others that are genuinely trying to do the right thing and pay the debt that they owe.
I wonder if these people have to take a personality bypass test to get their jobs!!
Anyway rant over I hope your troubles all stop really soon and just wanted to let you know I'm here if you need me.
Take Care xx
P.S Forgot to say have a look at the National Debtline website, they have lots of template letters to send to creditors there may be one that might help.DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL
