Don't let them win!!! Hang in there I'm sure it will get better it may just take a bit of time before the thick tw@ts get the message. (sorry about my language) but i get so mad that these people feel its ok to bully others that are genuinely trying to do the right thing and pay the debt that they owe.
I wonder if these people have to take a personality bypass test to get their jobs!!

Teecee, I think I would wait before upping payment. Just my gut feeling and because there is no need to rush is there?
Toasti, welcome. Agree with advice re sending separate payments and banks are happier wihen they get your CCCS ref. no.0 -
Hi.
Just put chicken on for roast tonight and cooking a stew for tomorrow so quite busy at the moment.
Absolutly chucking it down here today so staying in today and tidying and sorting out. Might have a declutter as well.
Thats it from me as nothing to report DMP wise(as everything is closed) and off to work at 6am tomorrow so have a nice bank holiday Monday.
If you have not been out yet do NOT venture to the supermarket as everbody seems to think the world is ending as it is sooooo busy :rotfl:

Could you guys take a look at this letter and tell me if anything needs to be changed on it please? Want your opinion beforer I print and send. Thanks alot:beer:
Account Number.....
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to inform you that I have been in touch with the Consumer Credit Counselling Service regarding my level of debt.
I have been having great difficulty in covering my debts each month and after seeking the advice of the CCCS, I am going on a Debt Management Plan with them.
My reference number is ....... and the CCCS will be in contact with you shortly.
I have enclosed a token payment of £5 with this letter as a goodwill gesture.
I would ask you if you would not contact me by telephone but would put all future correspondence in writing and send this to the address above.
Thank you very much.
Yours faithfully0 -
PS Just wanted to say I may be on this board alot, as nobody else knows about my debt problem, so I am really grateful for all the support:D
It feels like I am already making some progress just by getting in touch with the CCCS (which I did a few months back but then thought I could sort things myself... ) I am going to print my letters off to egg hsbc and o2 later. I have also cancelled my dd's and standing orders to these companies so am expecting a few phone calls (since my hsbc loan payment is due out on 6th June), so will just give them my ref number and tell them to wait from CCCS. I feel so STUPID for getting into this mess but I guess it is best to look forward, not backwrds, right?
Sorry for the rant!0 -
Afternoon,everyone,
pouring down with rain here so all the kids stuck indoors.Been cooking pancakes and waffles to fill them up else they would constantly want junk food lol.Well done ym with getting your chicken in,gonna get mine in a while ,oh works nights so i like to have it ready for him when he gets up.At least it gives me time on here to talk to you all.
lloyds are badging us so much at the moment in the last half hour i have two calls from them.I've sat here with tears rolling down my face with shame wishing i had the money just to pay them off,but i haven't.They constantly asking for a card number to pay off the debt but i haven't got the money! we have toldpayplan on a number of occasions about this as lloyds are denying haven't recieved any income, outgoings etc .. from payplan. But payplan have said they have recieve them and this is just a delaying tactic.
Do i send the income and outgoings etc to them myself?
Thank you to everyone for all your kind support

Hi Craftingqueen
I'm sendings hugs your way :grouphug:
Sorry to hear you are being harrassed by Lloyds. I can understand how you feel about crying with shame because in the past I have done the same. However, you are now trying to sort out your debts and are dealing with PayPlan and hopefully when everything is sorted out you will be feeling much more positive. You could send them copy of ingoings and outgoings if PayPlan has sent you a copy but if not I would ask PayPlan if they could send another just in case they haven't received - which I think is unlikely!
Have you got a caller display on your phone? If so I wouldn't answer any calls from them - especially on a Sunday!!:j PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS :jPiggy points - 155

Hi all
The weather is absolutely awful here today. Got absolutely soaked going from supermarket to car!!
Toasti:- I think we have all felt stupid but you are dealing with it now and you are right that it's best to look forward. It's impossible to undo what's already been done but we are all doing our best to sort it. I think the letter is okay to send.
Yellow Monkey:- You are right about the supermarkets today. Has a food shortage been announced!!!!!!!:j PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS :jPiggy points - 155

Hi.
Just thought i would pop in quickly and puff up my chest because as well as making a roast the stew is done for tomorrow and i am even making my own chicken stock with the carcass, veg and bay leaves.
toasti. Always look forward. Yesterday you can do nothing about but today is different. Be positive and strong and you will get through it no problem.
craftingqueen. Cant believe these morons phone on a bank holiday weekend. Good luck with LLoyds. I would be inclined to let Payplan deal with them. If you strike into a correspondence with LLoyds you let the door open(bit like the baliffs). Pester Payplan to get onto this and explain the grief it is giving you. Good luck.

hi all
weather is terrible here as well
toasti your letter looks fine to me
crafting queen tell lloyds not to phone you any more or you will report them for harressment and tell them you will only deal with them in writing if you have already done this next time they call demand the full name of the person you are speaking to and then tell them you are contacting the banking ombusman and reporting them they should leave ypu alone for a while then hugs to you:grouphug: Member #5 of the DMP Mutual Support Club :grouphug:0
