Raining persistently here in Bolton! It took me a day to get over my "feeling sorry myself" drink session on Friday night! I was ill all day Saturday and felt slightly better on Sunday
maybe the Baileys and Wine after the cans did'nt help!
All I got off the OH was "Self inflicted"!
I need a holiday now

Hi, well on the DMP front a few things have happened, GE called to say they had info on CCCS but on their system did not show as accepted ? said to call CCCS and tell them to get in touch, so will do that, asked them not to call me at home and he asked if i wanted it deleted , so said yes, said they will not contact me for another 21 days, thought that was fair enough but said letters wont stop as computer generated.
Anyway what I was really wanting was someone who has had advice on Citifinancial Loan. Well they have refused the DMP payment and said it has been handed over to head office, mainly cos the account was less than 6 months old even though I have been a customer for the last 2 years.
The guy who called me genuinly wanted to help and understood my circumstances but said due to the age of the account there was nothing he could do, if I had it 6 months he could rewrite the loan or something, not sure what that meant but irrelevant in my case.
I owed 8k but on my CCCS plan they added 6k interest, think this was the total cost of the loan over 5 years.
Does anyone know what will happen now?
Many Thanks

hi all
sorry have not posted for a while my son was off school 3 weeks as his school badly flooded and he has only just gone back to temporary school until end of this week.
Things are a bit down on the dmp front i have already made second payment to cccs however every creditor is still saying not received your income and expenditure details. I have rang cccs and they advised that they send this with the payment so if they have the payment they have all the other details. They have resent again for me to all creditors.
Phone calls have been thick and fast and lloyds have been bad again for ringing at 9pm at night and 8am in morning. I am now making a note of the call and when they ring.
I was at work yesterday and a someone said that a strange caller had been asking for me and that he was from capital one and then he said it was a personnel call for me and then hung up. I rang capital one as soon as i got home and told them not to ring me at work again as not acceptable and highly embarassing. The lady agreed with me and removed a number they said they had for work.
None of creditors have accepted yet had at least 6 defaults now, is this lack of acceptance common on month 2 of dmp? I keep telling myself it is but not convinced. anyone get a creditor accepting straight away?
sorry to go on but feeling low today about it all,its those calls they are getting me down i am sick of repeating myself and also hubby always gives permission for me to speak to his creditors as well as he hates talking on phone.
take care all
bye for now.0 -
They can take a couple of months of roaring and moaning before they do accept. You just have to stick to what you offered and keep paying the amounts consistancy works with them in the end.
You can write to companies and ask them to only contact you in writing, we wrote to Lloyds and told them they risked my husbands job if they continued ringing at work as he works on a helpdesk. But I did change my phone number at home too. I just told family we were getting crank calls no one thought twice about it!0 -
Hi bow, I only had one accept straight away - reduced interest but still charging some interest. That was my main bank who I had o/d and cc with and never ever defaulted on them. Was with them for 12 years and they seemed very quick to accept.
GE said nope because of recent activity then wrote to say yes they accept CCCS' offer, then another department wrote and said they hadn't heard from CCCS.They have accepted and stopped interest but they don't talk to each other!!!
The other one is ignoring me completely. I just got a credit report and it says my loan is on arrangement - which means they must have accepted it but never told me
My final cc they are still ignoring. Issued a default, still charging interest, late payment etc and not replying to anything. Someone else said they didn't respond to them either but after 4 months stopped charging interest. So I'm hoping for that
Think it depends on which banks, your past history with them, and the mood of the person who gets to deal with itworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
